I'd say going 12 with Abdoul would be good for him but he'd most likely stop Abdoul too :conf

Abdoul has never been stopped so far,and he has faced the best fighters out there, the who is who of the cruiser weight division.

I am going to be a bit of a consipracy theorist here- is K2 intenitonally holding him back a bit because of conflict of interest? He really should win a crusierweight belt handily and then step up to contend at heavyweight...where his boss Wladdy reighns.

I mean, really, why is this guy taking the South Africa tour when Glowacki is winning belts and Kudryashov is figthing former champs and contenders? It is disgraceful. He is 28 and if he wants to get the most out of his career it is time to go.

I just think its a thing of Glowacki having some decent wins and Huck wanting the least threatening opponent as usual and it backfired this time, and Dmitry has had the better opp so far but they've all been past their best days, if Usyk goes another match or two with subpar comp then maybe I might start thinking the same way as you. But they might just be trying to let Usyk perfect his pro game, although I thinks its good enough already.

    I dont know,mate!
I like Usyk.He has all the tools to be a long dominating force at cruiser weight, and even at heavyweight I cant really see a lof of big boys who are a threat to him.
Well,he is an exceptional fighter but no superman.
Abdoul has gone the full route with the who is who of the cruiser weight division.
The Belgian based Arab toughman went the distance with-for example-Briedis, a certain Manuel Charr couldnt.
He also went the full route with Glowaki,a certain Mr.Hukic aka Marco Huck couldnt.
Abdoul was able to hear the last round's bell against fighters like David Haye,Fragomeni,Maccarinelli,Masternak,Towers,Kucher,
    Mike Perez,Yoan Pablo Hernandez,Licina,Gassiev,Marco Huck,and so on.
He is a teak tough cookie. He for sure can go the full route with Usyk.
I guess Usyk will beat him black and blue schooling him in every round, but he wont be able to stop him IMO.

Abdoul has been stopped once in 93 fights and that was in the 12th round by Krzysztof Wlodarczykin in what was his 20th fight at the time. Like Odo said, he's fought a who's who of the CW division and plenty of them were big punchers too. He's also fought and lasted the distance against a few big punching HWs too. The only thing is he's getting on in years a bit now (he's 39 next month) so maybe age might come into play if he fought Usyk.

The first time I ever saw Usyk fight or had even heard of him was when he fought in the Beijing 2008 Olympics against this guy. It was a good introduction to him as he put on quite a show. He probably should've won this on the 20 point outclassed rule before the middle or end of round 2. So many of his shots weren't being counted, obviously because he was facing the home nation representative. Very nice performance by him. Even orc face Teddy Atlas is singing his praises in this one. Usyk got robbed in the next round against Clemente Russo, I've never liked Russo since. lol
