He's up there. He just became undisputed, something that has not been done in 24 years. He's undefeated as well. Time will tell where he falls in the ATG list.
Yeah, Bud would need to beat Canelo to even be debatable, Inoue would probably need to clean out every division up to 135 as there's nobody at 126 or even 130 that impresses me much.
In terms of accomplishments, I think it's hard to have Usyk out of the top 10 for HW, but the competition on that list is getting fierce. All time...? Hard to say. I'm guessing he deserves a top 100 spot given his incredible run in 2 dangerous divisions. His undefeated record is the cherry on top. I think 1-2 more signature performances will secure Usyk's legacy at HW. A win over someone like Hrgovic would be incredible, but I'm not expecting him to stick around too much longer given his age, wear and tear.
Maybe this is prisoner of the moment, but I don't think at this point he's too far off from being Pacquiao and Mayweather's peer. I think a couple more title defenses and he's there.
Lol Fury and Joshua are very good heayvweights? Since when? I guess them beating a 40 year old Wlad made them really good heavyweights. Usyk is lucky to be in such a weak era for heavyweights. I can't even imagine Usyk beating John Ruiz.
He's the greatest of the post-Mayweather/Pacquiao era and a bonafide all-time legend. Don't know where I'd rank him numerically, but he's truly special.
At HW? Not that high. He just doesn't have the body of work. You'd be disrespecting guys who had a whole HW career with great wins and other solid wins.
He went through the gauntlet to become undisputed at Cruiser and went through a number of really good heavies to become undisputed at heavy. He's got the biggest prize in boxing. He's an ATG, but hard to say where he is all time.
