When did this happen? I do not recall them ever fighting in the same weightclass as seniors. Usyk was always two divisions higher unless they met as juniors? :huh

HELL, I could be wrong IDK for certain!

Usyk was 19 at the time, Korobov was 23.

The fight took place at middleweight.

    WOW!

korobov had around a two year stretch where he was unbeatable and was incredibly dominant. I did not realize Usyk was one of his victories during that run.

Strange how Korobov seemed to lose his form so quickly. In the first round of the 2008 Olympiad he surrendered more points to some Albanian (around 5) than he did at the entire 2007 WC's.

Thanks, I glad you like them:good You said the same thing I said about him in my thread, he'll clean out CW with ease and then be a legit force and future HW champion. Here he is beating big Heavyweight and good HW Magomedrasul Mezhidov.

And KOing bigass good Italian HW Modugno

Usyk has the eyes of the tiger. He looks legitimately scary. He doesn't seem worried of what could happen in the ring. That's the right spirit.
