With the same logic you can say "Usyk doesn't look so wonderful after Chisora vs Fury";"Usyk doesn't look so wonderful after Briedis lost to Noel Gevor" and so on.The fact is that he beat them, all other is not important.

 

I’m a bit disappointed. I expected such idiotic threads to appear much earlier, straight after the fight, and I thought one of the Dirty Dozen would open it. I tipped miniq, Thunderstorm or my mate Mad Ducky to be the OP. So meh, it’s not the same this way - slightly amusing but not the real thing.

Why? He's right. The comments on this forum towards AJ are all incredibly negative to the point that you wonder how in one breath you can give Usyk so much credit for beating him but also **** on him like he's nothing. It makes 0 sense. Either Joshua is garbage or Usyk beat a very good fighter. If you are gonna **** on AJ, don't put Usyk on a pedestal for beating him because all Usyk's done at heavyweight is have a boring fight with Chazz ****ing Witherspoon, barely scrape by Chisora (I had it a draw), and then he beat AJ who is apparently a bum.

 

Usyk's reputation is not just built on beating AJ... And also bear in mind Usyk inflicted more psychological damage to AJ... So I believe his level has dropped..

Usyk's reputation is built partly by AJ but also everything else... Being undisputed cruiser... Getting better each fight in heavy etc.... Not to mention he got Fury running scared....

IMO we had in there last night, the BEST Franklin ever. Motivated. High on confidence after he was competitive against Whyte, probably surprised himself. Is a decent fighter in his PRIME. Has a good chin and some skills and was pretty fearless going into the fight. Versus AJ with a new trainer, trying out different things, wanting to show the public he's reinventing himself as a boxer with a skillset , but it semi-backfiring because it seemed a bit counter intuitive for him. Maybe he was even carrying Franklin a tad. But still aware of the danger of a rogue shot from Franklin, so still seemed cautious.

People have been trash talking Aj for years and how overrated he is but when usyk beatts him its the greatest win in boxing and now apparntly beats Lennoc Lewis muhammad ali and mike tyson ridiculous ….

joshua went 12 rounds with a guy that was working in a factory a few months ago …

 

The Joshua wins are overrated but the version that fought Franklin was much worse.

 

Aj wasn't ever that good. Even at this point he's looking like Michael Grant

Usyk faced a confident AJ who had beaten every man he ever faced, and was coming off a win.

Franklin faced an AJ who had had the confidence beaten out of him, coming off two losses, and knowing he had to be cautious as another loss would end him. He probably figured it was more important to get the win than risk another loss.
