Oleksandr Usyk doesn't look so wonderful after Jermaine Franklin vs Joshua

Ridiculous. Usyk didn't just beat him, he schooled him on every level. If the first fight had gone another round AJ would have been asleep just from punch accumulation alone.
AJ is not a natural boxer, no rythm, flat footed. Watch the fight again last night, no ring IQ, on his heels the whole time. Spent more time looking at his corner and the ref, just shows how manufactured he is. The casual AJ fans follow the hype not the sport, they cannot watch a fighter, see the work and skill that goes into the footwork, the balance, the ring control. He does not have it, he was made to look even more wooden and at times a little lost last night. He has a very long way to go, not in the division but as a fighter. He never seems to learn or develop. Plenty of power but there still is no development on the delivery system. As wooden as ever. This is why the natural boxer pulls apart the wooden, flat footed, over hyped AJ.

Now the revisionists go into full spin mode.

Yes, that version of AJ we saw last night who was coming off demoralizing back to back defeats

Whose confidence has clearly been heavily impacted by those crushing losses

And whose career was probably over if he lost. Hence why he was extremely cautious and tentative throughout and he just wanted to make sure he got the win without taking any risk

Who came in at a career heaviest weight of 255lbs and was having his first fight with a new trainer, his third trainer in three fights

Yes, that AJ was clearly the same AJ we saw against Usyk and of previous fights. You know, the guy who forged his way to becoming the three-belt unified champ x 2 and having the best resume in the division

I know there's a lot of 'fans' out there who are extremely threatened by Usyk but just STFU.

Usyk looks fantastic. He's come up from CW and within four fights established himself the king and terrorist of the division, harvesting the soul of AJ x 2, making the at worst #2 HW of his generation have a nervous breakdown in the ring and cry at the post-fight presser, and turning the supposed #1 HW of this generation (who already ducked AJ) into a quivering petrified 270lb giant chicken who starts shaking like a pooping dog everytime he hears Usyk's name

    lmao.

Usyk won 9 rounds in the first and 8 rounds in the second fight

    Franklin barely won 1 round

that's a huge difference, no need to argue more

Ight lets not sugar coat it. Joshua is not that good. Fury would've done the same thing. As a matter of fact he probably would've stopped aj. Joyce would also demolish any version of aj. And Wilder has an excellent chance at KOing him.

Hell Ruiz made him quit in 7 rounds, and on top of that joshuas record has not aged well.

All credit to Usyk. He's a great fighter, and he has a good chance against Fury, but ajs resume was a myth. Smoke and mirrors

We have this thread as Tyson Fury runs screaming from Usyk.

OP is an idiot of epic proportions...a buffoon...a village idiot.

Fury is running terrified from Usyk. His name should not be spoken in the same mouth.

Fury is so denuded from booze, drugs, weight fluctuation, and a handful of hard fights, that we don't know what he is capable of at this point, except beating Derrick Chisora.

He sure knows he ain't beating Usyk.

Too bad there wasn't some fight to be made for Usyk to see how good he really is...

You need to relax your hopes and dreams will be granted. The same was said when Fury delayed the Wilder rematch and then even again when Fury wasn't going after the 3rd wilder fight in till arbitration was won.

Fury Usyk is happening. They've both opted to wait 6 months to double their pay...which is common sense. The interesting part is what happens with belt mandatories and "stay busy" fights. Fury Chisora 4 and Usyk Dubious probably.

The beauty of Wilder for Usyk is he is only 215 pounds so he's not overly physically dominating and doesn't fight as such unlike Fury. He's just horrifically dangerous. A proper one touch death artist. Usyk knows exactly where to position and how to keep away from that right hand but over 12 rounds you have to accept you're going to get touched a couple of times.

Usyk will take his final Saudi payday against Fury though.

If you go and look at some of the journo's inside boxing circles they even leaked that they didn't expect Fury Usyk to get made because the Saudi's wanted to promote one of their new stadium builds for it and it would be winter at earliest. Don't be so cynical and I am a cynical as it gets.
