Oleksandr Usyk is a joke. Has only fought 1 time since he won the belts in 2021.

I wonder why no one ever mentions how inactive Usyk is. He’s only fought once a year since 2019 for a total of 4 fights, one of those being a joke fight against Chazz Witherspoon.

And before someone tries to use Covid or the Ukraine war as an excuse, his fellow stablemate and countryman Lomachenko has fought 6 times in the same time span against better opposition, with none of them being remotely as much of a mismatch as Witherspoon. The belt organizations should strip Usyk of his belts.

He's fighting at the very top. He's not ducking anyone and is demanding fights at the highest level.

It's been 20 months since he has the titles, so yeah - whether it's Usyk or somebody else, this is very poor defending them once against the guy you already beat to win them. And when we talk about the bad activity in the heavyweight division, obviously Usyk plays his role there as well. But let's blame it on Fury and Queensberry, yeah, the same will happen now with the failing Dubois fight... Imagine if we wait until December for his next fight - that means he fought twice in like 27 months - this is a brutal stalling of the division.

He had a contractual rematch, his country got invaded and he made the grave error of trying to negotiate with reason and logic with the Fury camp.

As a boxing fan I hope Fury Usyk happens. As a fan of people not getting shafted, I hope the 30% was a one off to get the fight done previously and Usyk doesn’t bend to Furys demands again and gets what he deserves from this.

Fury doesnt want that fight, and he ducked. Both Hrgovic and Zhang are rady for Usyk, he just has to say the word. Both are level above Joyce who was considered number 1 contender and was made to be one of Furys sheep to slaughter.

People always love to leave out the rematch clauses put in by the 'A-sides' who don't want to fight more than twice a year and so use up almost a whole year with the contractual rematch.

This time it was Hearn-AJ who had Usyk trapped in the rematch. Usyk would likely have preferred to fight Joshua, then fight Fury to unify as soon as possible. From that point he could have chosen to rematch Joshua if he wanted more money, but would have got a better split if he'd beaten Fury.

You mean the same Usyk who was ready to take the worse part of a 70/30 split in April so he can fight for undisputed?

Usyk wanted to fight Fury early last year - the ogre ducked him.
Then he wanted to fight him early this year - the ogre ducked him again.

Of course that my man, the imbecile Mad_Duck, one of the remaining Furyettes is quick to agree with the OP :DDDDDD

On the other hand, the very Furyettes who talk about Usyk's "inactivity" conveniently forget the fact that Fury hasn't fought a legit fight in 13 months. Anyone who gives the bull about how he "defended" his title against Del Boy in December is a grade-A troll. The fact of the matter is: Fury hasn't fought any decent fighters since 2021. Beating up a chinny uppercut magnet has been Whyte and a nigh-on 40, 12 losses Chisora who was dragged back out of semi-retirement - lol, what an activity :D Fury ducked Usyk twice, ducked Joyce, ducked Joshua, ducked Ruiz and ducked Zhang as well. He hasn't fought a top opponent not called Wilder in 8 years. He doesn't even have a fight lined up this year. He hasn't even been in camp this year.

In the meantime, Usyk is back to camp again, training for Dubois (or Wilder, depending on Dubois's health), after having spent the first few months of this year already in camp because he was preparing to batter the ogre. But sure, he is the inactive one :DDDDD

The Furyettes are getting more and more desperate by the day, hilarious scenes. The fact that Fury is losing credibility and popularity hand over fist all over the globe is clearly taking a mental toll on his remaining stans.

    What are you talking about?

He is already in camp, preparing for Dubois (or Wilder, depending on Dubois's health). Besides, he spent the first months of the year in camp, preparing for Fury - who ended up ducking him again. What more is Usyk supposed to do?
