    Just in case anyone forgot.

    :worship2:

We must celebrate these individuals because I see mainstream media sports and how these sports people are idolized and given so many props, given adulation, treated as higher biengs but guess what most of them sports are games. You do not play boxing. You don't wear a t-shirt to fight. You don't have a bunch of toffs in their private balconies saying "oh spiffing". You have two warriors in the ring who really do give a piece of themselves in the art of war and we of all people need to always remember that and pay homage to it.

I see these groomed sports people who were raised as kids into it but when you're getting punched in the head it takes a certain something first in spirit then in body to reach the top. You can't select for it. The drive in the individual to get battered around the ring then to turn around and say I can do better I can take more I can beat that guy. That's what it's about and we'll see that on December 18th when Tyson Fu....bahaha I'm not gonna do it.

21 December 2024 is actually the BIG day - the summer/winter solstice depending on where you live.

18 May 2024 was the date of the first fight.

It’s gonna be a nice early Xmas present for boxing fans however you slice it. Looking forward to it.

    Tempt fate?

Fortunately, in any case, even if Fury finds the big improvement he needs (or flukes a KO) he still won't go down as undisputed champ unless he goes out and reunites the belts... Which he realistically won't.

Usyk is #1 of the generation regardless of what Fury or anyone else does now, IMHO.

Not really. If Fury avenges his loss with Usyk and becomes undisputed against AJ he would have dethroned 3 undefeated champions.

    Unlikely though, I agree.

I will, when Tyson Fury gets his ass kicked again.

I hate to be that guy, but he's not the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World. He vacated the IBF Title last month.

    P4p? Absolutely
    At hw? I disagree

If Fury beats Usyk, especially twice then he has to be ranked as a better Heavyweight imo

If Fury beats Usyk twice he's probably top, but at the age they'd be by #3 it'd be debatable... Realistically I don't think Fury beats him once, let alone twice.

To be clearly the best Fury has to beat Usyk twice and beat Joshua - which again I don't think he would even if he takes that fight.

It'll all be academic when Usyk wins the rematch which, to me, is at least a 70/30 at this point.

    Incredibly unlikely.

I wouldn't favour him in either matchup - to beat both against the odds would be a big surprise.

That's why the undisputed title is overhyped these days.

Jokes aside, living in an era of Inoue and Usyk is special.

It's dumb that he's not anymore. He is the clear #1 at HW.

They have to find another way to give the bodybuilding bum AJ, ANOTHER shot at a free title against a none champion. AJ has still yet to beat a champion for a belt. 50% chance Dubious chins him. 50% chance we see the mental midget running around the ring pretending that he's Muhammad Ali for getting another gifted belt.

Yet they'll proclaim he's a 3x world champ like it's better than winning it once and not losing (Usyk).
