I don't see him offering much more than Joshua did. He does have a better jab altho as said lack of any experience with southpaws probably nullifies that.

Emanual Steward also said Lewis was a mean mean man. Mean into his bones. That’s the big difference maker.

    Another garbage post.

The sad thing is, there’s plenty of people here who would be willing to give him a good debate, IF he actually wanted one.

Pretty much I still don't understand the point of bringing up Ossie Ocasio, Lewis's 11th professional fight and an 8 round fight aswell i might add. In an attempt to discredit to Lennox Lewis. I actually shook my head in disbelief when I see that.

Lewis's boxing brain and heart are ten times larger and better than Joshua's.
If AJ could go 24 rounds, albeit lose, with Usyk, surely Lewis would do a more comprehensive job and ultimately defeat Usyk.

Usyk has never been down vs anyone and certainly no one is invincible but I see Lewis winning a UD, even without Glen Feldman.

Lennox's 35-year-old opponent was freaking Mike Tyson. Usyk's was Tony Bellew.

Lennox's 36-year-old opponent was Evander Holyfield. Usyk's was Derek Chisora.

Lennox's 37-year-old opponent was Holyfield again. Usyk fought the 38-year-old retired nephew of a famous heavyweight.

You guys are clowning Lewis for fighting a couple of all time greats at that age when Usyk was fighting a 38-year-old Chazz Witherspoon. Really?

    Enough already.

And Lewis was fighting Mason, Ruddock, Morrison, Tua, Rahman, Grant, Golota, Briggs, etc. in their 20s when they were all at the top. Not just Mike Dixon for ****'s sake.

Honestly, you guys don't know **** about this AT ALL.

That's all you got out of that? I was posting ages because they are talking about how Lewis only fought OLD MEN.

So I just went down Lennox's record and started posting the ages of his opponents. Even some of the supposed "old guys" on Lennox's record were "younger" than Usyk's "name" opponents.

How many top 10 heavyweights did Lewis fight in their 20s?

A DOZEN OR MORE? How many did Usyk face? One?

Nearly every name Usyk fought was in his 30s. Bellew was 35, Chisora 36, Witherspoon 38.

Compared to Lewis, Usyk was the one fighting "old guys."

And the older guys they're making fun of who Lewis fought were freaking Hall of Famers and reigning or former heavyweight champs like Tyson (and Lewis was older than Tyson when they fought).

They also forget to leave out Holyfield was coming off some his best performances vs Tyson, Moorer 2, and had been champion for 3 years holding two of the belts.

Exactly. Unlike CHAZZ Witherspoon. But let's bash Holyfield.

No. When I saw the title of the thread I knew it was BS. Why create something blatantly false.

If Usyk had dropped 48-1 Tony Tucker twice and won a dominant decision, people now would be praising for him for a great performance. Yet certain people here now, are using that fight to discredit Lewis crazy logic to me.

It's comical. A 34-year-old, 48-1 (only lost to Mike Tyson), #1 contender, former heavyweight champ Tony Tucker.

Apparently, that's a bad win for Lewis.

But Usyk vs. 38-year-old Chazz or 36-year-old NINE Losses Chisora ... they've got no problems with. :pipi

Not the sharpest tools in the shed.

Ok, you say nobody is arguing Usyk has a better resume, but the OP discredits LL's resume to justify an Usyk win against LL. That being said. The first question I always ask in these mythical matchups of old timers vs th new era guy is, who has the new guy beaten that makes me believe he beats the old timer? You can argue that AJ is close to LL, but we know LL had the ring smarts and grit that AJ lacks. Now, Usyk is a fantastic fighter. The only thing he lacks is HW power. He can adapt mid round, high ring IQ, very good stamina and a tough style to pin down. Always comes in focused. LL used his jab very well, knew when to tie up his opponent, good power, high ring IQ. This is a tough one, but I give a very slight edge to Usyk. Don't hold me to that. My mind might change after my 2nd cup of coffee. LOL
