Oleksandr Usyk on the cusp of winning a heavyweight title?

I am a fan of Usyk think he has the potential to be a threat at heavyweight but people are jumping the gun on him. He's yet to prove he is the best cruiserweight in the world let alone prove he's one of the best heavyweights in the world.

Gassiev won't be an easy fight, but even should Usyk win, he has a lot to prove at heavyweight. People will say look at how be beat Joyce in WSB as proof he can compete ate heavyweight, well that was 5 years ago when Joyce wasn't the fighter he is now and Joyce himself has yet to prove he's a force at heavyweight.

Usyk needs to answer a lot of questions before he can be considered a threat at heavyweight. Can he beat Gassiev, does he look the same at a higher weight, does he have the power to compete at heavyweight, he took Joyce's power but can his chin handle the power of someone like Joshua, Wilder, Ortiz, Povetkin etc.

 

He will do it but his frequent injuries are the main concern

 

I don't think he will have a long career. He gets injured too much....
