Two stiff boards with trash technique and chins up in the air. Bruno attempts to throw a few uppercuts here and there (with the chin exposed) and some lazy jabs too. Bonecrusher misses most of his flailing arm punches but somehow manages to knock out an exhausted Bruno. Overall, a refined bar room brawl.

I'm definitely not an AJ fan, but even he should spark these dudes out within a few rounds. If Dubois uses his jab properly he should be able to iron them out pretty quickly too. I wouldn't even be interested in seeing Usyk vs them because it would be such a mismatch.

    I wasn't "denigrating Usyk's defenses" that wasn't my intention.

My point has always been Usyk hasn't got the vast resume at Heavyweight to be rated above Tyson strictly in regards to Heavyweight rankings.

    "The rematches against British Heavyweights"

Was me pointing out Usyk has fought a grand total of 3 opponents in his 6 Heavyweight world title fights. And there's people in this thread suggesting Usyk is rated higher than Tyson at Heavyweight. So my example is to show Usyk hasn't fought enough varied opponents nor has he got the vast resume to be rated above Tyson at Heavyweight.

And i've never discredited Usyk for taking those rematches.

The point isn't that i'm discrediting Usyk for taking those rematches.

The point is i'm showing an example that Usyk hasn't got a vast enough resume to be rated above ATG Heavyweights based on only fighting 3 opponents ranked in the top 10.

I've never denied Usyk isn't above Tyson in all time P4P rankings combining Usyk's achievements at Cruiserweight. I just don't see any basis for Usyk being rated above Tyson strictly in regards to Heavyweight rankings.

Miller misses most of his flailing arm punches but somehow manages to win rounds, if only he wasn't featherfisted unlike Bonecrusher. Overall, a refined bar room brawl, just less punches being thrown than Bruno/Smith

    @bailey

Looking back at my posts I was a bit harsh TBH I thought you was being a bit funny towards me with the question.

But I realize now how my post could be taken out of context.

So I apologise if I come across a bit hostile I was a bit too snappy in all honesty with my replies.

Sorry, for me Bruno beats AJ. Bruno is a very underrated boxer who simply froze when tagged, and that's a hardwiring problem not a heart or skill one. I think he'd have AJ out of there in a very similar fashion to Dubois. But. We'll never know and its only an opinion.

Tyson or Usyk? Probably about equal on H2H list, ie a nightmare for most, but Tyson must rank higher on achievement. His most underrated win for me is Larry Holmes and that win alone likey overshadows Usyk's heavyweight run. Please note, this is not Usyk's fault. He could only fight who was available. But I cannot put a fighter whose best wins are Fury, Dubois and AJ above Tyson, although I am leaning towards Usyk beating Tyson in a prime v prime match up...

Stay safe all, peace and love, Px

Watch the full fight. Dubois showcased quite good lateral movement (at least for his standards) and punch combinations. With Miller you know what you're getting, a gigantic peds brute with a concrete block head and chin. A push from Miller during the face off with AJ made AJ stumble back so far he had to be caught by Eddie Hearn.

And both got better fundamentals than Bruno and Bonecrusher.

You're crazy, Bruno has better technique. He was literally outboxing Witherspoon and Lennox Lewis until he got caught, he'd have gotten dominated if what you're saying had any merit.

His punching mechanics are proper. Dubois doesn't even have faster feet, Bruno had better agility when he was forced to move, the only thing Dubois did better was the left hook and being on the front foot. Please for the love of god actually watch his full fights, this is high quality proof that Bruno had better fundamentals

Yeah. that's fair enough. I was in the wrong there, sometimes, I'm a tad biased when it comes to Usyk. I actually agree with @Dynamicpuncher but on paper the Holmes and Spinks wins appear to be Tyson's best but I'm not convinced that in reality they were, I like the two Bruno wins and the wins against Ruddock.

Mike's two best wins for me are Tyrell Biggs and Holmes. Nobody does that to Larry. And yes, Biggs wasn't all that but the methodical, remorseless, surgical beating Tyson dispensed was a terrifying lesson in administering a hiding that JUST allows your opponent to survive as long as you allow them. Breathtakingly eloquent violence.
