Oleksandr Usyk or Mike Tyson - who's the Greatest of the two?

90% of the people on here didn't even see the END of Tyson's career let alone the beginning and middle of it.

The Usyk favouritism is just recency bias.

If Breidis was giving Usyk hell, then imagine what someone as explosive as Mike Tyson would do....

 

Talent wise, p4p wise, Usyk, star power and icon wise, Tyson.

 

Tyson favouritism may be a nostalgia bias as well.

If Tillis almost drawed with prime Mike Tyson and Buster Douglas beat him, imagine what Usyk would do...

 

Breidis was an excellent fighter, arguably the number 3 Best everCruiserweight

Mike Tyson actually lost loads of times, and Usyk was has never even been legitimately dropped.

Tyson got knocked out by ****ing Buster Douglas. And lost every single round apart from one against Holyfield in a one sided beatdown. Both were huge underdogs.

 

Usyk. Longevity & consistency matters. Tyson can't just dine out on those few years in the 80s.. his entire career has to be part of the argument.

 

So what, have you seen who Holyfield lost to? Same with Lennox Lewis. Are you now suddenly going to put Usyk over them too?

All I pointed out was that he had his hands full with Breidis and that Mike Tyson was a far superior fighter.

Usyk has had the better career, due to longevity and never losing. He also beat the best guys he fought

However, Mike did as much in 4 years as usyk has in over a decade and 2 of the guys he lost to are better than anyone on usyks resume

I guess we have to give it to to usyk, but Mike will still be a bigger legend 1000x more known. He would also imo beat usyk, but that point doesn't matter as it is opinion

I know for a fact usyk will be forgotten about long after Tyson

 

Usyk easily in terms of who has the best wins against the best opposition.

 

Fury is great, breidies is great and huck is great.
Joshua is hof material.
