Usyk's resume is weak compared to historical heavyweight greats.
FFS, his best heavyweight wins might be against a boxer who could barely beat debuting Ngannou.
Usyk's only won 5 fights against genuine top-10 ranked heavyweights, and 2 of those wins were rematches, we're talking about only 3 fighters.
    It's weak as ****.

As great as Usyk is, in terms of skills, generalship, achievements at advanced age, and giving up weight ..... his resume is a bit ****. I think we can all agree.

Prime Usyk takes Mike to slick school and forces him to rage quit or get himself DQ'd out of frustration in the back half of the fight. Usyk got ice in his veins and he would be a constantly moving target

    This content is protected

Mike was brutally knocked out smack bang in the midst of his prime and stopped a further 2 times in the midst of his prime and 2 of those loses came vs a CW the other vs a guy who stopped him had already been stopped x 3 himself and lost x 4, 3 of those 4 losses coming at the hands of journeymen levels

By the time Mike was Usyk's age he'd been knocked out or stopped x 6

Usyk has never even been dropped, let alone knocked out or knocked out by journeymen

As for Belly going life and death with Ngannou who he clearly didn't take seriously. Roy's best ever win James Toney had already clearly lost his 0 to a bible studies teacher D level in the midst of prime in everyone bar the judge's eyes before Roy beat him and Toney also lost to Drake Thadzi

Didn't the guy who harvested Mike's 0 via HL reel KO subsequently lose the title in his very next fight in just 3 rounds to a CW due coming in out of shape making said CW look like a murderous puncher like never before or after?

Didn't the guy named Raymond who was robbed vs Lennox Lewis lose to a 13-9 journeyman 2 years prior to being robbed vs Lewis and could only manage a draw vs a 7-9-2 journeyman 2 fights prior to the Lewis fight?

How you explain? Mike, Mercer, Douglas, Toney etc. must've all been journeyman level

And let's not forget that those 90s unbeatable gods would all have to submit to VADA testing like Usyk does and I don't think that would end very well for them at all

Usyk is definitely not on any juice…

Primes are different for different fighter. Mikes prime he would have ko’d both Fury and Joshua IMO. No version of Usyk would ko them.

No he isn't he's an actual genuine man of God and that is reflected by the way he carries himself in and out of the ring. He wins his fights pure legal skills with zero deck-stacking or use of illegal or dirty tactics and is never trying to gain any unfair or fair advantages.

Usyk literally came within a whisker of KO'ing Belly when he was 37 y/o and would of had the ref not dived in to save Belly and had he put his foot on the gas a little earlier in the last round or so in the 1st AJ fight he would likely got him out of there. When Usyk enters the ring with the intention of getting you out of there and sits on his shots he's a different animal to the slick boxer Usyk who is content to just outbox you

Mike was literally KO'd in HL reel fashion at 23 y/o and stopped a further 2 x by the time he was 30. If Usyk was to get knocked out by a much bigger and much younger savage punching HW at 39-40 + he wouldn't be afforded a fraction of the same excuses for it as Mike and many others are for their losses in their primes to opponents their own size

Man this poll result is embarrassing, is this place just full of casuals or something? Tyson has better wins, a far far deeper resume, and in his prime at least as skilled, while spending his whole career as the far smaller man. It's not even a contest Tyson. Usyk dwarfs Tyson in terms of size.

So prime juiced Mike was HL reel KO'd in the midst of his prime by a glorified journeyman who was knocked out x 3 in his prime, twice by journeyman levels, and knocked out or stopped x 6 by the age Usyk is now?

You're not doing your case any good here

Mike was a beast but he was also a bully and mental midget and no amount of excuses can deflect away from the fact he was knocked out or stopped a bunch of times in his prime and half a dozen times by the time he was the age Usyk is now

Usyk is a clean athlete and he has never failed a PED test amateur or pro and he is a genuinely deeply religious and honourable devoted family man not a fake one and he carries himself with the utmost class in and out of the ring and unlike so many actual PED cheats he fights on a deck heavily stacked against him at the drop of a hat time and time again and never tries to gain any advantages at the negotiating table be they fair or unfair and he always fights clean with zero use of dirty or illegal tactics.

If he was a cheat it would manifest itself in other areas but not only is there literally zero evidence of this but everything literally points in the complete opposite direction. Take your slanderous accusations and stuff them up your asses or up the asses of your actual proven cheat idols before I perform an exorcism on your asses

Always difficult to go against tyson for me, but hey, I was an impressionable 8 year old in 85, lol. Thing with tyson was the whole aura thing, he made the sport huge in the mid 80s before the internet, mobile phones, blah blah... everyone on the planet knew who he was, it was a different world back then. What tyson was regardless of wins or losses was something we'll never see again, what a time to be alive that was!

    Neither did Lance Armstrong.

Tyson had 60 pro fights, Usyk has 24. When you fight more you risk losing more.
