I think some people see Fury slower now because of the change of his style which he does good, but he's harder to beat if he fights the way he used to few years ago. Fury vs. Wilder III he was very heavy, this might have impacted his speed, but he did better against Whyte few kilos lower.
Wilder III isn't the most reliable measuring stick, given the circumstances surrounding the bout (which have been hashed over in other threads). I think we'll see a very sharp, very specifically prepared Fury when that fight comes. If, for argument's sake, he were to be legitimately defeated, I won't be falling back on excuses along the lines of his having slowed down. They're both in their mid-thirties, they've both built up some decremental wear and tear.
I personally think all the poor lifestyle choices Fury has made is catching up to him. He didn't really look any quicker vs Whyte. But we'll see. If he can perform as well as he did 2-3 years ago then I'd favour Fury.
That's not what happened. Usyk said like 10 minutes before that he was hungry (for food). He ended the interview because it was the last question. Even shook his hand.
Whyte didn't land a single clean headshot on Fury in 6 rounds. Is that because a 34 year old Whyte is far slower than he was when he walked Parker down at an even higher weight a few years prior?
Whyte sucks though, that's largely why. I'm just saying the herky jerky body movement he once had doesn't seem to be there anymore.
Fury is 5-10 lbs heavier and 7 years older at 34 (aside from the miles on the body due to outside the ring activities) so he's not likely to be as athletic (not that boxing is purely about athleticism by any means). But on the other hand, I don't think Whyte is significantly less athletic than he was when he fought Parker (maybe significantly more chinny) and he was lighter against Fury than against many opponents. And if Whyte sucks then Parker (who is regarded as pretty athletic) must have sucked even worse to lose to him. If Parker sucks worse than Whyte (who couldn't hit Fury with anything meaningful over 6 rounds) then that has very negative implications for Joshua, Joyce, Ruiz, Chisora, Usyk etc.
Boxing never works like that.. if Cooper almost KOd Ali imagine what Liston & Foreman would do.. lazy ass thinking ... Usyk ain't KOing ****
Another lazy ass post.. Fury was a baby, hed been pro less than a year .. he was 21 ffs.. he slapped big John silly less than a year later anyway... you fkers really do reach.. Fury outgrew that level in less than a year & is at about 4 levels above that now.. Chisora is just a tick over ready for the big one..
Are u ill? Old Chisora , post Ruiz Joshua x2 & fkin Witherspoon? How the fk does that trump WK, Wilder x3, Chisora x2, Whyte, Wallin, Hammer, Johnson, Cunningham etc... Joshua is a busted flush, WK ruined him to some extent, dented his skull & confidence & Ruiz sealed the deal.. Joshua was just fortunate that Ruiz ate his own bodyweight weekly during training camp for the rematch... literally had a televised nervous breakdown in front of the world .. can't even impose his roided bulk on a relatively feather fisted CW..
They are haters mate, don't worry. Fury will always have haters like this. After he beats Usyk they'll still use what's left between their ears to somehow claim AJ can beat Fury. Joyce would smash AJ into next week. He is at best the 3rd best HW in the UK and will never claim anything greater with Joyce & Fury around.
Cool story. He still robbed a C level heavyweight from victory. You can spin, twist and change the narrative all you like. The big dosser has ripped off another prize fighter, has been popped for PEDs & as a champion, has a pathetically weak resume. Please continue to cry over your beloved hero some more though.
Given your non stop Fury shitposting, see you mentally break over the last month has been a sight to behold. AJ the paper chinned warrior defeated the dosser without stepping foot in the ring. Now he wants no part of the middle weight. Now he leaves a contract open for 2 weeks, for geriatric Chisora. The same Chisora that B level Parker beat the dog**** out of. This is up there with seeing the regular Wilder nuthuggers break down. It’s fantastic.
