 Sometimes I tell lies, little itty-bitty ones lol

Much of what I said there was true though, regarding Usyk that is. Other than the Parker stuff and the stuff about Dychko as well of course.

Oleksandr Usyk, the future heavyweight champion of the world.

Here's one vote for yes, and I will explain why.

Usyk is currently 8-0, with 8 Ko's Yes-- He is a cruiser weight now, but he has to train down to make weight. At 6'3" I see no trouble with him making 215-220 pounds.

In the professional ranks Usyk has shown great skills, movement and good power. But its not his professional results that have me thinking he's the best man after Wlad retires.

In the amateurs Usyk has sparred with the best super heavies, and he has bettered them. I have seen many of Povetkin's amateur matches and think Usyk is a better overall talent.

The southpaw has a very good chin, and if there is such as think pound for pound type of skills for his weight class.

A good question. I'll answer it this way. Usky would give Wlad a tough fight, and could upset. I'd pick Wlad to win though in 2015. 2016? Not sure.

Check Usyk out for yourself. Less than 3 minutes of highlights. The 1:08 mark is brilliant. You'll see a accurate quick and athletic puncher who can land all sorts of shots to the head or body, cover up, counter, and even ask for a punch himself.

He looks great but people are getting ahead of themselves. Let him beat a live body at CW before we start hailing him as a future HW champ.

He def can't afford to be eating as many straight rights as he did the other night against guys like Wlad, Joshua, Wilder etc

Usky's Amateur Record: 400-10 Achievements: World Champion, Euro Champion and Olympic Gold Medallist.

I'd OU over Joshua and Wilder, who would not be able to trade with him today. Joshua is going to disappoint. He's the next Herbie Hide and has shown a shaky chin in the AM's

I see a lot of what you see in Usyk. But I can't see him beating Wlad. I can never see a cruiser weight being able to defeat wlad. Wlad is 6'6 250lb, incredibly smart and strong in the ring, he has an all time great jab, very skilled, great movement, great range and incredible knockout power in both hands

Usyk is not experienced enough to beat Wlad. He has never flet wlads power, he has never faced a big man as skilled as Wlad. Wlad would eat up Usyk on the outside.

Usyk is very vulnerable to a straight right hand on film, Wlad has the best and has a lot of experience fighting good southpaws

Wlad is an ATG heavyweight champion, he is in a different class than Usyk and everyone else

He has a long, long way to go before this chat gets real. He is a slow starter and he has very little in the way of economy (better last time though). If he is going to fight big guys he needs to nail down his start and he needs to be careful of economy. If he is carrying 220 rather than a perfectly trained 200, if that's the weight, he wants to be careful with that movement because doing that for 12 will be very hard.

I'm not convinced though I do think it's possible.

Ellerbe probably thinks Marcus Browne would beat Usyk

    Q,

Usyk has a grade A chin. He has sparred with and fought big time heavyweight punchers who hit him including Medzhidov. Medzhidov is the best AM super heavyweight puncher out there. He hits on Wlad's level.

I'm not saying Medzhidov is as accurate or fast, but for pure power, Medzhidov and Wlad is debatable. For real.

With 410 amateur fighters, I think Usyk is experienced. His handlers are okay with letting him go 12 rounds now. I'd pick Wald in 2015. 2016, I'm not sure. It depends how much Wlad has left and how quickly Usyk develops

I think Usky who is 6'3" has the movement, chin, courage, skills and power to give Wlad trouble.

As I said before I think he's a better prospect that Povetkin as when he turned pro.

I think he has the frame to carry 215-220 without loss of speed or stamina.

In general cruisers are faster movers than heavies, they just lack the power, chin and size to compete at heavy for the most part.

I think Usyk checks all these boxes like Holyfield did.

Once Wlad and Povetkin retire ( I think they both retired by 2018 ) who is the best out there at heavy? Usyk can make his move.

I love how people have to move the goal post down the field another 20 yards because Usyk is so good.

"Ooooo Usyk got hit like three times in a Boxing match, I don't know about him he might suck"

Well until it's proven, that's pure speculation.

He was around 210 in WSB where he dominated SHWs without headgear.
