Appreciation thread for our new undisputed champion.

As you all know, I was rooting for Fury and I thought he was in comple and total control midway through the fight.

But if Fury had to lose against anyone then I'm glad it was against him.

He's been great for boxing. Class act and more than a worthy champion!

Absolute hero. One of the best to ever do it.

Hasn’t won a single belt in his own country either. Poland, Latvia, Russia, England and Saudi.

Mmh not yet. Let's see if Fury fancies the rematch first. I hope he does but I'm not holding my breath.

Usyk is a sensation. I cried when he spoke about his father in the post-fight presser. Let's be honest, he is a much nicer and better person than Tyson Fury who has had too much smoke blown up his arse since his comeback.

Whoever we favour as Brits, we all have to realise that the era contained one ELITE level heavyweight and that is Usyk.

Too small for Joshua, Fury too big with great movement and he will not cope with the power was what was frequently said when he moved up.

He simply splattered Bellew in his final cruiser fight, played with the Plod Squad Chisora, broke Joshua's heart twice resulting in a post fight mental breakdown in/out/in ring impersonating the hokey cokey at the end of fight 2, made Danny 'take the knee' Dubois live up to his name and now should have stopped Fury last night with a more objective ref.

An all time great winning all 4 belts at Cruiserweight and Heavyweight.

Take a bow son, take a bow.

To me, undisputed is a great promotional device but the real victory is going undefeated and beating everyone asked of him along the way. Usyk is a special talent.

To be clear you could have made the same argument for Fury if he’d won, but the fact Usyk has done this at the top two weights with barely one fight you could call a “tune-up”, is stunning.

Tbf, Fury is probably a decent chap away from boxing. It's the personna he delivers to bring value. Same as Chris Eubanks or Naz. They weren't like that in real life.
But I totally agree, Usyk is a great, what an awesome role model and nice chap.

Been following the sport since 95 and Usyk is as good as anything I've ever seen in that time. He's of the Mayweather and Roy Jones level, but they never gave up the physical advantages this guy routinely does, away from home as well. Mentally and physically the absolute definition of the word warrior.

Usyk is absolutely incredible, what a fighter! When it got to round 8 I thought Fury would cruise to the win as he found his rhythm, there were a few times when Usyk had to pause and take deep breaths and was hurt on occasions complaining to the ref, then he did what he did against Dubois after the controversial low blow, he dug deep, put his foot on the gas and demonstrated his insane cardio with a flurry that Fury couldn't deal with. Usyk's fitness and conditioning turned the fight around, I don't know how often he will be able to move up the gears like that in the future as he's in his late thirties, but what a weapon to have in your arsenal. Would definitely like to see a rematch.
Fury can hold his head up high, he had a very good performance up until the 9th and showed us how tough he is to come back in the 10th
