Oleksandr Usyk to be stripped of IBF belt immediately?

They stripped Opetaia for less.
It's known fact that Hrgovic - Dubois is going to be for the IBF belt. And AJ - winner in September in Wembley.
It's already schedule.

 

Never mind them. The IBF made it quite clear weeks ago.

 

How doesn't he deserve it? Let's look at Parker, AJ and Fury for a second, heck let's throw in Wilder for kicks:

Fury fought Hammer for his shot at Klitschko, popped for PEDs and still got his shot.

Wilder fought Scott for his shot at Stiverne, and Scott took a dive.

Joshua didn't actually fight anyone to earn a title shot, Hearn bought one for him.

And Parker fought Dimitrenko before being involved for the vacant WBO

Hrgovic's controversial win over Zhang shats over all of those. Not to mention that Hrgovic was offered around for the IBF mandatory, and Parker already said no to it once.

Hrgovic is next in line. And rightfully so. What is with this sudden high standard to block him from fighting for the title?

Usyk should fight him or be stripped

 

Hrgovic vs Usyk is very interesting. Usyk must be the favorite but Hrgovic will show up and if anybody can upset Usyk it's Hrgovic or Jalolov

 

The IBF love stripping their champs almost as much as the WBC love protecting them. It's a non-issue really. Usyk's achieved unification and that can never be erased.

 

He will be stripped if he doesn’t satisfy the mandatory, which would appear to be an impossibility with the rematch. It’s the correct thing to do, and the price fighters pay for their rematch clauses.

 

They don’t have to do anything as the mandatory Hrgovic already has a scheduled fight.

The WBC mandated Fury v Whyte when Whyte was already signed to fight Wallin. Whyte fought Fury instead.

The problem for Usyk is he chose to sign a rematch clause with Fury after already postponing his mandatories. Just like he chose to sign a rematch against Joshua.

We shouldn't forget that Usyk leap frogged many fighters using his WBO mandatory status. He got his shot against Joshua ahead of career heavyweights fighting on the WBO ladder.

So what, he gets to pull the ladder up behind him now? I don't see how that can be defended really.

 

So you would rather the belts were fragmented again for Hrgovic! Really!

 

He's got 4 belts now plus linear, right? Any minute the Ring will give him another. Nobody at this level fights much. So how is he going to defend 4 belts? It's bull****. He reached the apex. Took what, 25 year? Next guy to duplicate his feat hasn't been born yet.

 

The IBF are shady asf, they're just trying to get the belt on Hrgovich who's been their mandatory for a while now. It looks like Hrgovich-Dubois on June 1st will be for the "VACANT" IBF HW strap. Smh.
