Fair play to Simmons for taking this.

jesus simmons could have earned decent money fighting tommy mccarthy and would have had a chance of winning

instead he is going to kiev to get his face broken. simmons style is tailor made for usyk, he will beat him senseless

Good on Simmons for taking a risky fight. Does no harm to his career losing to Usyk and he only has to put in a decent performance for his stock to rise

its not a risky fight its a 'sure thing get your face broken fight'. his stock wont rise for it and he will be damaged for ever on. he should have fought mccarthy

I don't understand why people get criticised for taking tough fights. If he wants to test himself and box a good fighter fair play to him.

he could have done that fighting tommy mccarthy and it would have been a fight he has a chance of winning, instead he is going out to ukraine to get the life beaten out of him,not to challenge himself

Why is Usyk being moved so slowly?

Why do so many fans criticize boxers for taking hard fights where they are heavy underdogs?

The critisism is about the huge step up in competition. It's not as bad as that guy being fed to Groves, but you can wonder why they don't take smaller steps.

Simmons is far too easy to hit and one paced. He will be stopped quickly. Cant knock him for having a go though.

But Its a chance to fight one of the best fighters in the division, he should be applauded not mocked in my opinion.

he had better options, could have had a domestic dust up with tommy mccarthy which would have made good money(probably more than he is being paid) and he would have had a chance of winning

instead he is going to the ukraine to get the life beaten out of him and he will never be the same again, this isnt a step up, its suicide
