Posters with substance wouldn't assume 1980s heavyweights would beat 2010s cruiserweights simply on the basis of being heavyweights. Dismissing Usyks win over Gassiev on him not being proven at heavyweight isn't an argument I can respect. If someone thinks beating Bruno trumps a win over Breidis maybe they are hopelessly biased or just plain crazy.
By that logic Rex Layne and Don Cockell are better wins than Bivol.

Due to the blatant ducking at heavyweight I think its probably better legacy wise to fight at cruiserweight where the possibility exists the other top fighters will fight you. Had Breidis turned pro at heavyweight he is probably ducked by Fury, Joshua, and Wilder and every top heavyweight aside from Derek Chisora who will fight anyone. Eventually Usyk moves up and maybe beats Breidis like he did in real life at cruiserweight. Under that scenario the only legacy he leaves is beating Derek Chisora and being ducked by everyone else until Usyk comes along and maybe fights him.

With regards to cruiserweight I don't feel I have to show that they were all exactly the same size as Tyson to argue the fights are as relevant (or more) as his heavyweight bouts. In my view at 200 plus a difference of 9 pounds or less isn't significant. If Huck was 8 1/2 pounds lighter than Tyson and Bellew 7 3/4 pounds that makes them essentially the same size as Tyson. That's going off fights they had over the limit which is the best guess we have. Unless you can think of something better to go on.
