Haha, I just sighted Vitali Klitschko - and the boxing coverage hasn't even started yet. (they were showing a highlight package of Inter's news broadcasts, which included Klitschko in his role as politician shaking hands with some other leader)

 

He did, after the screw job in Saint Louis - but like so many before him, the bug eventually bit him once more even after he swore off the sport in disgust.

(notably I'm thinking of Ike Quartey, who felt he got wronged against Vargas and retired for several years before making a short-lived comeback)

 

Um...so this concert is a bit fruity. I thought Ukrainians were all grim bad ass types, but maybe Usyk is the exception and not the rule. :think

 

Seriously, this lead singer/guitarist in the short-shorts and retro-starburst patterned silky open vest makes the sissy who fronts Maroon 5 seem like Stone Cold Steve Austin.

 

Er, that's his bad side? Heh, yeah, wrong profile...and, uh...the lighting... :!:

 

Okay, so I guess we're actually getting half an hour of Ukrainian pop music before any live boxing.

They did show a commercial just a few minutes ago promising Usyk vs. Bruwer would be coming up at 22:30 local time. (current time in Lviv is 22:08, meaning Usyk vs. Bruwer alone could potentially last until nearly midnight if there is any ring walk/anthem pageantry dragging it out...so Kotelnik vs. Benidze might actually be happening now, off-TV...)
