What would the consensus be on Usyk's chances against Huck within the next 2 or 3 fights? Would that be too early or is he up to the task just now?

Footage of Usyk playing soccer, goofing around.

Okay, well, I guess this + tons of commercials + weird concert programming is just as good as seeing the comeback attempt of Kotelnik.

Not too early. Wiiiiiiiide decision for Usyk, that.

Huck with his wildness always stands a chance to land something big, more so than other punchers who are more conventional in their approach (therefore more predictable) - but even if caught Usyk with his best, I don't think it would be a big problem. I'd expect Usyk to roll with or immediately shake off the punch and go back to landing flush pot shots and fast combos while stymieing Huck with movement. Usyk, meanwhile, could probably score a flash knockdown on an imbalanced or badly positioned Huck (say with his ankles crossed awkwardly as Usyk turns him) but as much as Usyk is no light hitter it takes a lot to put Huck away - more than Usyk either has or is likely to commit to as his style is more to safely outclass and outpoint when possible than go for the kill and take unnecessary risks.

Interesting. I've never been particularly high on Huck because, as you alluded to, he can be wild, reckless and telegraph his punches. He can be fun to watch but a good boxer (especially a counter-puncher) should be able to take him apart.

Is your confidence in Usyk's ability to take his best punches a reflection on Usyk's chin or Huck's power? If this guy has a solid chin too then his potential sounds enormous.

Vitali: 'Usyk is breathing down Wladimir's neck (jokingly), will have a title fight next year (at cruiser-weight)'.

Solid chin. He got wobbled only a few times in the amateurs in a very long and prodigious career of regularly facing the best internationally, by enormous punchers, some of them his own size but some MUCH bigger (legit super heavy giants) - and in nearly every case he went on to win anyway.
