Dubious is the 3rd best man in the division after Fury right now. Usyk keen on a rematch with a genuine puncher who has determination (unlike AJ) is commendable. Dubious is twice the fighter AJ is and as such has twice the punchers chance. It's going to be hard for him. He will probably gas out again..but atleast he will try.

What I mean is - Parker has no belt, it would’ve been a defence = a risk of status. Usyk is the prize - a unification bout, headlining at home with the world number 1 (as opposed to second on the bill in Saudi).

Challenging Usyk for all the marbles is the ultimate prize for all heavies, so why take an interim match against the dangerous Parker (there is a reason we were all excited about that fight - it’s very winnable for both).

for the record, I rated Dubois when folks were writing him off. Picked him over Miller and over Hrgovic.

Imagine getting crapped on for putting all three of your belts and immaculate record on the line when you're 38 y/o and have been past your prime for years, in a rematch and what will be a unification match up for all the belts, against a way bigger and younger murderous punching KO 95% prime champion in their backyard where the chances of him getting robbed, whether it be by the judges or the ref, are extremely high, in what is the much more lucrative, bigger, and more dangerous and risky fight than the opponent many are complaining about you not fighting next

Not to mention Dubois is a very dirty fighter so the 38 y/o past prime Usyk isn't just risking getting violently KO's by the much bigger and younger prime savage puncher or robbed by the ref and judges, he's also risking having his face getting carved up by Dubois' billy goat butts and having his testicles punched up into his stomach

And in addition to that, there was also a ton of controversy regarding the outcome of your first fight against them where so many claim your opponent was robbed of victory, and that so many includes many of those who are now whining about you rematching them

Also, Dubois climbed into the ring after Usyk's previous fight to crashing his post-fight interview in front of an audience of millions across the world to call him out to your face yelling he'd been cheated and robbed in the first fight.

Had Usyk fought anyone else instead he would be crucified for ducking the rematch against an ''much improved and experience'' Dubois who was ''robbed of victory'' in his first fight against Usyk

FTR, Floyd and Ward never dared do once in their entire careers and never would've dared do it once either, even in the midst of their primes against featherfisted opponents their own size, what a 38 y/o well past prime Usyk will be doing here against a way bigger prime murderous punching Dubois, let alone forging a career doing it like Usyk has

Lennox Lewis ducked a rematch against Vitali at the same age Usyk is rematching Dubois in his backyard, let alone Lewis rematch Vitali in Ukraine

Usyk will likely be the 5th or at worst 6th oldest HW champion of all time by the time he climbs in the ring with Dubois for the rematch and he will only miss being the 5th by a few weeks or a month if they fight in mid July. And he will be the oldest ever undisputed champion if they do so then. He's already the second oldest one now and the third oldest unified one as it stands now

If Usyk lost, we know it would be because of age rather than skill. He has literally made his tenure in the division beating bigger fighters with power.

    Parker has earned his shot.

Re. J-Park. He was knocked out by Big Joe Joyce who beat a ''young and inexperienced'' Dubois on an eye injury whilst being extremely wary of Dubois' power which says a lot about that power considering Big Joe Joyce is a walking man mountain and has one of the best chins in the game and he has never fought that way against anyone else, let alone against J-Park who he walked down and with little regard or respect for what was coming back at him.

That's how hard Dubois hits. Big Joe Joyce had more respect for Dubois' power than he did Big Bang's, even in the rematch after having been brutally KO'd by him in their first encounter

J-Park also lost to ''bum'' Whyte

Should be 1-1 vs Chisora who was supposedly ''shot'' when Usyk beat him prior to Chisora dropping J-Park and getting robbed against him in their fight fight

Lost to AJ who Dubois brutally KO'd

    Arguably lost to Hughie Fury

Has been taken the distance by Razvan Cojanu, Junior Fa, Takam, Jack Massey, The Dosser all of whom sans Massey have been knocked out or stopped many times and are considered very chinny to fairly so and have been knocked out or stopped 19 times in the combined 25 losses and all would've been brutally KO'd by Dubois

Dubois has done better than J-Park vs all their common opponents

    KO5 AJ
    KO2 Cojanu
Lost to Big Joe Joyce on an eye injury in a super close and competitive fight

    AJ WUD12 J-Park
    J-Park WUD12 Cojanu
    Joyce KO11 J-Park

    ''But J-Park has improved doe''

But if true, and it's debatable how much, wouldn't that logic also apply to Dubois too? In fact, we know it does because that's exactly what so many have been saying about Dubois ever since he went on his recent run of KO/stoppage wins, including many of the same people crying about Usyk rematching Dubois

Also, knowing Usyk there's a very good chance he will fight J-Park next if he beats Dubois

Imagine Floyd rematching Gatti for another easy belt which was really his, or pacquiao having a rematch with Rios lol

It's a cherry pick and yet another rematch
Heavyweights age better than lighter fighters, hopkins was champion a decade older and manny won world championships in his 40s while being pro for quarter of a century

It's an easy fight for high reward. Many champs have done the same and so will usyk chasing the dollar

The only way this is OK for me, is if he fights Agit or Joseph next before he retires. If he wins the second fight with a guy he beat easily already, then retires without fighting a fresh challenger? Then his legacy at hw is based on 3 British fighters, one which is many years past his physical prime

Hold up then why not fight Parker as scheduled instead of a B.S. excuse because you feel the fight is too risky.

Kabayel or Dubois. Those are the other top 2, would have preferred Kabayel but this is a risky fight still.

Very good fight. Their first bout was one-sided but Dubois has since had three very good wins. He's IBF champion and number two HW.

If Dubios was all that he'd honour the fight he called in "sick" for.

Bit sad to see you trash Parker who, much like Usyk, has always put it on the line away from home bar the Ruiz fight.

I'm not trashing J-Park I'm merely addressing the hypocrisy and stating facts.

I really like J-Park and I would rather see Usyk face him instead of Dubois for a number of reasons

Because I don't think Dubois deserves a rematch based off the controversy of the first fight

Because I believe Dubous is a much more risky and dangerous fight for Usyk at his age due to Dubois' savage one punch power, youth and given the rematch will be in the UK where the risk of him getting robbed whether by the judges or the ref is very high

And because, as said, I really like J-Park and think he's an absolute scholar and a gent who, as you say, conducts himself with the utmost class in and out of the ring, is a fearless road warrior, and he deserves a title shot

But nothing I said was untrue regarding Dubois being more dangerous and powerful than him and performing better against common opponents

Every HW on the planet is playing a round on Russian roulette when they step in there with a murderous puncher like Dubois, Big Bang, AJ etc. Let alone a way smaller 38 y/o blown up CW one in Dubois" backyard. That's 2 rounds of Russian roulette only the second time with 2 bullets in the chamber, 1 loaded by Father Time

And I absolutely agree Dubois should be facing J-Park next and honouring his agreement. They could easily reschedule it for a month from now as both have only recently finished full camps and J-Park took very little damage during his brief fight against Bakole. I'm not sure Dubois didn't duck J-Park

Only thing I think dubois has is the hope of an incompetent ref being assigned to this fight and won’t count actual low blows low and deduct points or DQ that idiot when he starts to go below the belt line. And he will absolutely try that. Make no mistake.

I mean what else is he going to do?? Outbox Usyk?? No. He got completely tuned up last fight.

If there’s a good ref that lets dubois know the low **** won’t be tolerated and deducts points… Usyk will box his face in. I got Usyk again in this one by stoppage before 8.

I don't think it will go that long. You are going to see Super-Sayen Usyk.

He usually holds back a little, as any general does. When he gets pissed off...well...see the Huck fight.

Usyk's promoter wants the big Wembley money so he continue his party life in London.
I don't view this as a safe fight, though. Dubious is more dangerous than Parker, way more roids and power.
