I actually haven't seen this, and I've watched every Usyk title fight, albeit over a few years. Did it happen vs Briedis?

I'd find what I wrote near when I joined, but from what I remember it's primitive.

 

The Cobra takes a UD or late stoppage,, Ezzard beat Archie more and Joe Walcott and went 15 rounds with Marciano when he was past his prime. Remind me again who Usyk has beat?

 

Can we see a bit more of Usyk? He might be a too big for Charles, and I cant see Charles knocking him out.

 

I'd pick Charles here. He's simply more proven across styles and sizes. Who did Usyk beat that was even close to Ezzard?

 

Why do we need to see more of Usyk? He's already cleaned out one of the best divisions in the sport, amassed a top 3 résumé today, and from now on in he'll be fighting guys above 200lbs. There also isn't anyone in the sport today remotely good or similar to a prime Charles.

 

Because Charles fought so many good fighters. Hall of fame fighters.

Is this fight at 190 the old cruiser limit or 200 new cruiser weight limit?

I'd lean toward Usyk as he' too tall and long for Charles. Charles has a slight skill and speed edge, but the question is can he overcome the bigger man who is also very skill, hits harder and is more durable?

 

Yeah, and nothing Usyk can do will top him. Even if he beat Fury, he wouldn't be above Charles on P4P lists. My point was Usyk has already beaten a ton of good fighters (literally beat 3 top 10 All-Time CWs, one of whom is the 3rd best ever H2H IMO after Holy and Usyk himself). He's beaten opposition good enough to be pitted in this match-ups.

There's NO WAY Usyk could make 190 IMO, he already cuts 15lbs anyway.

I highly doubt Usyk is more durable than Charles, or hits harder. All he has in his favour here is footspeed (at CW/200lbs) and length.

Charles might the best resume in the history of the sport from 175-200 yet he's 50/50 with Usyk in this poll somehow

 

It's a no-brainer honestly. Usyk is a fantastic fighter with an excellent resume today but he's nowhere near the level of Charles who is arguably one of, if not, the greatest fighters ever. If Charles was able to beat great talents like Moore, Walcott, Burley, Louis, etc. then he would have no problems against Usyk IMO.
I'll pick Charles by UD.
