joyce puts a hole in him Not the kid from 2013 anymore Fury putting a hole in usyk next year is all the evidence needed I will die on this hill im not talking hyperbole nonsense like normal
Although Usyk is starting to decline, I still think he has too much speed and angles for Joyce, and whilst he won't hurt or back Joyce up, his defence and movement are still good enough for a wide decision victory. But it won't be easy by any stretch!
I still favour Usyk. Joyce's Juggernaut moniker is an accurate one, you can't stop the juggernaut so the way to beat him is get out of the way and Usyk has the movement to do that as we saw in their WSB fight. But this is pro boxing and Usyk is older and heavier now. I think Usyk will be ahead at the half way mark but later in the fight Joyce with his work rate will come on strong and really put it on Usyk as Usyk slows. But Usyk likely makes it to the final bell and wins a competitive decision.
Joyce might have a solid chin, power punches and being strong himself, but on the other hand is slow and one-dimensional and here is where I see Usyk outboxing him. I don't exclude Joyce to find a way and hurt him and win however.
Usyk is a bigger ask than Parker and he took rounds but you have to give Joyce a big chance. That said Usyk would rightly be favourite. I don't see another Feldman showing up btw.
As long as Usyk has that speed and reflex, he would beat any current HW. He fights 3 times and that's it. Wilder, Fury and Joyce...
Joyce via UD or Late Stoppage. He's improved leaps & bounds from WSB in 2013. Usyk is on the decline & much more hittable now. He won't have enough speed, power or physical strength to stop Joyce from coming forward & putting relentless pressure on him...
Usyk is on a different level. Usyk UD. Of course Usyk's lack of HW power does put him at slight risk. But Joyce is too slow and stupid and predictable. Consider how fast AJ is in comparison and he struggled to get to Usyk. Btw, as for Joyce's juggernaut marketing spin, let's see how much of a juggernaut he is when any certified KO puncher is hitting him clean in the face as he plods forward. Even Fury would likely make a mess of his face after half a fight, close an eye or two.
