    Round 3

Berinchyk is starting to open up on Madni, throwing lead hooks and hard right crosses into his guard to freeze him up and then lathering his body with uppercut shoeshines. Madni is on the backfoot the entire three minutes, blocking what he can but getting lit up. Berinchyk is busy yet restrained enough to not punch himself out.

    10-9 Berinchyk

    30-27 Berinchyk

Solid opponent for a debut imo.

Quite true quicker feet though and is constantly changing stances.

The silver medalist from the London Olympics is having it all his way here with the Belgian of Arabic descent, who is 39 years old and has only a single knockout to his name in his professional career - and that lack of pop is showing as he is utterly failing to get Berinchyk's respect. The initial cautiousness is quickly dissipating and there will likely be at least a knockdown soon...

Berinchyk not making it as easy as you might want him to, this being his debut and all, but Madni is a tough dude and actually is trying to win, not just get bowled over like a lot of debut opponents would

    Eh, somewhat...

Ruben Martinez had a tougher debut opponent on Thursday night, IMO.

I'm really down for that. That nonsensical record padding gets you nowhere quality wise, it only helps to fool the casuals

Thinking about it his style has some Jung Koo Chang in it when he starts swarming and is constantly turning his opponent in close.

**** me round 4 was just beautiful! Great combinations, great footwork, great variety of shots...yeah the opponent is a bit "meh" (given his lack of power and age etc) but...you can see the kids class and ability and he's showing more every round.

    Round 4

Berinchyk is throwing long lead left upper-hooks on the sides and then styling on Madni with headhunting combos when his arms lower instinctively. Very nice variation from Berinchyk, repeating the 1-2 a few times and then following the jab with an uppercut or hurdling overhand right to keep Madni guessing. Madni down a couple of times, both shoves or strong-arming on the inside while he's attempting to clinch, neither ruled a knockdown.

    10-9 Berinchyk

    40-36 Berinchyk
