Seen Hunter box a few times in the amateurs. Pretty good opponent. Seems like quite an amiable chap too. No relation to that compulsive liar Klaus Kinski from Nosferatu looking creep trainer from Oakland who shares the same surname as him is he?
Not a big fan of Hunter's abilities but he deserved a decision over (a tired) Beterbiev in the Olympics 2012.
Hunter was rocked by one of the bums he fought a year or two ago, and looked like hot garbage against Isiah Thomas, so while on paper he's a legit opponent, in reality Usyk will do a number on him quicker than Mchunu, this will probably end up being something of a stay busy fight.
I recall Hunter being gassed after the first round of that fight. Beterbiev's strength was having an effect on him but Beterbiev also looked more tired than one would have expected. He then fought Usyk and arguably could have won that. So there's the angle all of Usyk's detractors can cling to; Hunter looked better against Beterbiev than Usyk did.
