Oleksandr Usyk vs. Pedro Rodriguez & Oleg Malinovskiy vs. Aldimar Santos RBR

After this should be the co-feature, Malinovskiy vs. Santos, and if things work out the main event won't conflict with Jones vs. Maccarinelli in Russia. (or the important matches in the UK)

Santos is a Brazilian and has been kayoed five times, which is promising, but unfortunately Malinovskiy isn't much of a puncher.

I forgot about Plotnykov vs. Reutski but that along with Malinovski vs. Santos makes two, after this one, before the main event.

 

Mizsei Jr. down in the fourth. No hurry to stand. Two minutes left. He beats the count at nine, barely. Huge assault from Berinchyk, throwing body shots and blasting Mizsei Jr. in the face with both hands. Uppercuts galore. Mizsei down again from a big rib-crusher. He is sucking wind, having difficulty breathing on his knees. Rises again. 1:13 left. Berinchyk is throwing rapid double jabs and slamming Mizsei into the ropes with the right cross. More uppercuts downstairs. Flurry up top, big double left hook and Mizsei nearly topples over sideways. Mizsei begins to counter with jabs skating the ropes. Two-piece from Berinchyk has Mizsei on his knees once more, wobbling as he tries righting himself. Shockingly the ref lets him go on. Mizsei is looping big right hands into Berinchyk's face desperately. Big left hook around the back of the head from Berinchyk. Mizsei down, complaining it was illegal. He rises AGAIN. Saved by the bell.

 

I told you Mizsei was brave.

Mizsei was lucid and responsive each time. His gutsy nature has earned the ref's sympathy and respect, I think. (and probably Berinchyk's as he is backing off a little in the fifth)
