    Round 2

Quick flurries by Usyk, dancing around Rodriguez. Usyk sticking the right jab on the bridge of Rodriguez's nose and making him spin on his front heel just to keep squared up. Usyk showing lots of speed and effortless agility. Rodriguez is throwing haymakers off the hip, looking to rip Usyk's head off with a hook, telegraphing everything, grunting with each punch. Usyk is caught on the devil-lock by a few stray bombs while navigating against the ropes when Rodriguez throws in combinations of 3-4. Usyk is outlanding him overall by a 5:1 margin at least, mostly just light jabs.

    10-9 Usyk

    20-18 Usyk

Usyk is not taking any chances here. Rodriguez is the bigger man who has fought at heavyweight. He's a power puncher with a high KO percentage.

The thing I'm not a big fan of when it comes to Usyk that he sometimes seem to push with his punches in an awkward manner.

    Round 3

Usyk is starting to stand in front of Rodriguez more, landing the southpaw jab followed by a left cross on the mug or a left uppercut on the stomach. Rodriguez is getting in some left hooks downstairs, causing Usyk to scamper in the same direction to move with them and take off some of the sting (and limit how much the force of them affects his balance). Rodriguez is definitely throwing heavy leather and Usyk is wary of it, but doing plenty to outpoint his man with lightning combinations while never planting his feet. Rodriguez gets in one grazing right hand late that sends Usyk off-balance lurching backwards nearly into the ropes.

    10-9 Usyk

    30-27 Usyk
