Helenius is barely a fringe contender. Usyk wins practically every round and he may KO the big Swede.
I would like for that to happen, but I'm quite certain it will not. On October 15, Wilder will stop Helenius in an early round.
I remember 10+ years ago when people on here were saying Helenius was the future of the division, how times change!
I think fringe contender would be a generous description. He was a contender back in the day before Chisora made him look bad and since then losses to Washington and Duhaupas suggests he might not even gate keeper level. The win over Kownacki, while nice on paper looks far less impressive since Kownacki lost to Demirezen who lost to Ajagba. I wouldn't rank Helenius top 15 right now. He's probably just about top 20 by the skin of his teeth.
