Oleksandr Usyk vs Thabiso Mchunu Official for Dec. 17th.

Good fight, I'm picking Usyk like I always do lol

 

Much better fight than the Bosnian guy! I rated Mchunu really highly after he beat Chambers, and still think he has the skill to beat almost any cruiserweight. He was schooling Makabu before Makabu wore him down, and that loss could be considered more of a bad style match. At least we know Mchunu is world class. His shoulder roll/counterpunching style I think will force Usyk to throw more and be the aggressor. Might not be the destruction he'd likely have against the other guy, but Mchunu will bring out Usyk's full skill-set. Props to Mchunu for stepping up.

It's certainly a different style fight for Usyk. I actually wanna see how he
handles a slickster that only engages to counter then spins out or
uses body movement to evade. Interesting fight.

Interesting fight. Mchunu has skills to burn and he won't be fighting a huge power puncher this time out. Usyk could have his hands full.

 

The ring card girls will be going "Oooooh & Ahhhh" over Usyk's slick new haircut.

 

Nice fight, better than the one that got cancelled. Mchunu is a good fighter with a different style for Usyk.

This is a solid first defense for Usyk. Facing Glowacki and Mchunu in his first 11 fights is pretty impressive from Usyk.
