Boxing fans are conveniently forgetting the Usyk/Nistor fight ... Nistor.put serious pressure on Usyk.for.many rounds.

AJ can do the same... but multiply the power output by x3 and Usyk will not survive that.

Nistor made that.ring real small for Usyk.. and Usyk was weak on the ropes against a very come forward.opponent.

Usyk can get caught plenty of times... he has a great chin... so against cruisers he can survive... against elite super heavies he wont

Do think it’s a big difference?Tell you a good example Povetkin against Wlad, fouling aside if you watch that Wlad was nearly knocking Povetkin over with his jab alone,it’s like Wlad had no respect for Povetkins so called power.
It would be out of the ordinary for a guy Usyk size to go against history and beat the top super Heavyweights.
History tells us that guys like Lennox,Vitality,Wlad and now Wilder and AJ are very difficult to beat when they box smart and use their size and reach.

i dont think they are forgetting, more like ignoring. im assuming, cause i never saw the fight myself, but i do notice the sloppy spin thats been getting put on his latest performance. and then its people with a 6 month account or less, so i got to take into account the real reason theyve posted 50 times and 49 are about usyk or loma.

Yes, but he is not going to.

He fights to the level of competition. Some very talented fighters are like that.

This is a very basic analysis. Watching the fight again I think his approach on Saturday was intentional. Feel Bellew out, let himself tire himself out before easing himself into the fight.

He obviously wouldn’t use such a strategy against genuinely huge punchers at heavyweight so I’m not even sure why it’s being discussed.

Like I said before the fight

    Sept 24th

    Nov 2nd

A Bellew interview from Nov 7th

''But he insists, “I’m going to beat this monster and he’s going to come back and still win a version of the heavyweight title. Believe me, he’s going to do it. I know how good he is and I know the problems he can pose other fighters and I know that other fighters don’t look at boxing the way I do. They don’t see things the way I see them. They can’t break a fighter down purely based on his attributes, his strengths and his weaknesses. I’ve got a gift that I can do that.”

“There’s things I have to do in this fight that will take away what he does so well. This is not about what I do. This fight is about what I take away from him. That’s what it boils down to,” Tony continued. “It’s a mentality. He underestimates and overestimates certain guys. And that’s clear to see. Let’s not forget here, as great as he was against Murat Gassiev who I believe he overestimated and thought he was more than he actually was, he criminally underestimated Mairis Briedis… He drew on one card and he beat him 115-113 on the other two. If one of them two judges see one round different, they could have because it was such a close back and forth fight, then he draws that fight. He’s not unbeatable.

“I will not get tired, not at any stage in this fight will I be tired. I am prepared to fight 20 rounds never mind 12. So I will not tire. I will not lose hope. I will not be in awe of this man in any way, shape or form. I am not afraid, I’m not in awe of him. I admire how great of a fighter he is and I think he’s absolutely fantastic and I am not in awe of him. I’m not going to stand there and let him rattle five, six, seven punch combinations off my head. That can’t happen. That will never happen once in this fight. He will not rattle a five punch combination off without getting one back off me. And if he does rattle five off, I guarantee four of them will miss. I pose a lot different problems than all the fighters he’s faced before.

“I might not hit harder than Murat Gassiev, but you know what, I don’t need to. I just need to hit more than Murat Gassiev did.”

    Paulie agrees with me too.

None of these HWs possess Bellew's blend of high ring IQ, boxing ability, speed, footwork, upper body movement, and craftiness. Only Tyson ''2-Fury'' is blessed with those type of attributes and capable of hanging with Usyk when it comes to trying to box with him and pulling off a game plane like Bellew did and you have to remember the punches coming back at Usyk who is blazing quick even at CW are going to be that much slower and he's going to be able to see them coming much easier. And Usyk hasn't achieved all he has in the sport amateur and pro by being dumb lol. He's got an excellent chin but he won't box the same way against the more dangerous HWs.

Bellew's a real student of the game and he studies the greats and watches a lot of film of both them and his opponents. He's been studying Usyk for years, sparred him before, and both he his trainer studied Usyk meticulously for this fight.

I'll give you a hint,,,he almost always gives away the first couple of rounds. I think we see now that he is a quick starter when he wants to be.
