Fury should have to beat someone else before getting a third fight with Usyk.

Usyk himself said Fury was his toughest opponent. Forgive me for having more faith in his opinion than yours but afterall, he was the one in the ring.

Fury is going to have the funniest Boxrec page - 3 consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk*.

I get it from a money perspective. Usyk made close to $200 million for the Fury fights and he's not going to earn anything close to that against another opponent but Fury needs to comeback in good form and beat a couple top 10 rated fighters before he gets another crack at the undisputed title.

Undisputed won't be on the line in 2026. For it to be that way, Usyk would need to face Parker first, and unfortunately, it seems like he has no intentions of doing so.

Fury has to earn a Usyk rubber match. Nobody cares about seeing a third fight because Fury already had two chances and failed. Usyk is Fury's daddy and always will be. It's a really pointless fight to make unless Usyk is just cashing out and giving Fury a false sense of hope for redemption.

Which fight would you prefer if you were Usyk?
    • 3rd fight with Fury, salary: $50M
    • Fight with Parker/Kabayel, salary: $5M

    Boring!!

I'm not a huge Parker fan but he deserves a shot.

This is kind of a stupid question, as we are not professional fighters and would probably take the easiest fight possible for the biggest amount of money we could get. But as the boxing public, we need to hold lineal heavyweight champions to the highest standard possible and not excuse ducking the top contenders to make sure the division stays healthy.

If Usyk isn't careful Fury might sneak a big shot, get a TKO and then he'll retire and not give a rematch like the last Pacroid versus Marquezroid fight.
Both fights were competitive. If you keep giving people a chance to beat you they just might pull it off.

At the same time, now Usyk has ditched his manager maybe he'll see his paycheck this time instead of it mysteriously going missing in large degree. If Usyk really does give money to Ukrainians then from his point of view it's a no brainer to fight Fury again.

People want to see different fights for variety but in reality Fury is better than Parker, Kabayel etc. and by a long way.

Ok Fury has gave Usyk his toughtest fights but he still lost both, now I’m a known Fury fan but Fury needs to get active and earn a trilogy fight especially when Parker and Kabayel are for more deserving of a shot at Usyk ! Usyk’s exemplary career takes a bit of a hit imo if he does indeed fight Fury before giving Parker and Kabayel a shot. There are loads of fights out there for Fury and the Joshua fight is the biggest of them all but I can’t see Fury giving Hearn the payday tbh . Like I mentioned I’m a Fury fan but at this point in time Kabayel for me is the bigger threat to Usyk !

Yeah Fury has a outside chance but Uysk should be a clear favorite again. To be honest if Fury wins it redeems his legacy big time.
