Oleksandr Usyk vs Yunier Dorticos - who wins?

Yeah, Kalenga must have been 75% of the fighter he was whole year earlier due to a mildly difficult fight. The Lebedev fight was definitely a Katsidis level war.

 

Lebedev beat Kalinga easily and the KD he suffered was a slip as he got hit on the way down. Lebedev knocked Kalenga over backwards and punished him late while Kalenga hurt Dorticos numerous times in their fight which was a war unlike Lebedev/Kalenga.

 

Beterbiev stopped him in the amateurs but it was a questionable stoppage. Not sure if he has other stoppages as an amateur but after all, like you said; he is Cuban.

 

I agree. I'd go with Usyk on points.

 

Way too accurate, the jabs would destroy Dorticos.

The one problem I have with Oleksandyr is his reluctance to throw his left, if he utilized it more and has more confidence in it he'd be such a force (As if he's not already)

Dorticos is a really good boxer, manages distance well, is a sharp puncher. But for a Cuban he's not especially slick, and was hit more than he should've been against the predictable Kalenga. Dorticos won't be hard to find for Usyk. And he doesn't have close to Usyk's speed. I don't see Dorticos as a tougher fight for Usyk than Mchunu. Too fast, too good.

 

I can see some people in the forum say that Usyk took some punches in his last fight. I can compare it with GGG vs Brook. GGG just said he didn't feel his power so he could afford to play with a more opened style. It's absolutely the same ... Mchunu looked like a middleweight compared to Usyk.
