Yes, obviously. The real question is which historical heavyweight would beat Usyk? Other than Lennox not a lot come to mind and that's still a 50/50 fight.
Well… YEA. Lol And Oleksandr wouldn’t need a paid off phantom punch to do it either! Liston’s little intimidation bull**** wouldn’t work on Usyk. At all.
Liston didn't like movers, and had a significant size advantage over his four best (Machen, Foley, Patterson and Patterson). I am sorry, but Usyk would EASILY beat Liston. Just a bad style match-up.
Mike tyson, vitali klitschko, Ali, Wlad, Foreman, Holmes, Bowe, Holyfield. Not saying everyone beats him but they could.
Liston is too straight up, Usyk is too versatile and would find ways through that, Usyk would measure him with that lead hand and when Usyk does that, he’s able to make them stay still, it’s like they’re trying to find a way past, they forget about the backhand of Usyk, then he sneaks it in, it would be there all night for Usyk, he’d make Liston freeze and bamboozle him with constant feints with the hands and feet up and down and completely throw off his rhythm.
People always mention Liston as if he's the best heavyweight champion in boxing history. Very annoying.
Lewis, Tyson, Holmes, Frazier. Prime Holyfield 50/50. Wladimir also had a good record against southpaws he'd be in with a shout.
Mike Tyson could not beat Oleksander Usyk. Everyone else on that list stands a better chance, even though I don't know if any of them could beat him.
Liston would be KOd by 8 Just like Ali did. Confused, baffled , marked up by the jaba then slayed by amazing lefts
