Have we seen Oleksandr Usyk's Peak?
What fight (or year) is it?
Or do you think we're yet to see Oleksandr Usyk's Peak (if he knocks out Fury in the rematch, or something)?

People say Aj 1 was the best version of Usyk they've seen, but it was against Gassiev. That's the best version of Usyk I have ever seen. Only a small handful of heavyweights in history could beat that Olekandr

    He is on the decline

I’d say Gassiev was Usyk’s prime PEAK Form. He was absolutely ready for that one and probably had his best preparation I would imagine. Winning that Ali Trophy and that series was his biggest before The HW Championship.

And Gassiev at that time was a force to be reckoned with. I really think the Usyk loss killed his drive for the sport.

I don't think this can be assessed with any kind of accuracy right now. Bump this thread in 10 years.

Usyk is definitely past prime now, but he's also adapted to HW very well lately, sitting on his shots more and putting more venom into them. He may not be the best version of himself now, but I've found him to be more exciting now he's actually knocking down giants like Dubois and Fury.

You'd have to watch a career set.

But would the man who beat Huck, would he have beaten AJ and Fury?

Watch how fast of both hand and foot and how nimble and sharp he is. And how quick his reaction times and reflexes are

Yeah you just need to look at how fast his feet were and how he bounces forward/backwards back in the day, and he is nothing alike now. Hell even compare to AJ 1 he is miles past it. A shadow of himself. People don't get it, as they haven't followed Usyk closely or even have a clue what to watch for.
Wven looking at the stats you will see it. 700+ punch output against AJ to 400 against Fury, while alao his speed was miles worst and he didn't move his upper body even 20% to how well he moved it in AJ 1. He didn't stop for a second against AJ. This tells you all you need to know, and how much worst his gas tank is nowadays.

If Usyk felt like that he'd have turned pro at HW.

Yes, the contrast is pretty stark. As you say, even in the first AJ fight his movement was a lot better and he was a much more elusive target and difficult to pin down. As for the WSB and amateur Usyk, he looked like a 200lb + giant mongoose

The side to side movement is gone, as he doesnt have the energy to do it any longer, neither to throw close to 1000 punches as he has done in the past. His reflexes and reaction time are obviously slower as well. Hand speed is obvious slower as well.
These are all the attributes that you loses first with age. 35 i think is the time when you start losing speed related attributes really fast.

He wanted Undisputed at CW obviously. And to have proper time at pro boxing. He ain't a proper HW for today era as well. Still that has nothing to do with his prime. I doubt he imagined that he will waste so many years of his career waiting on this or that guy as well.
