I still see boxing PPVs as being like the old days of WWF wrestling; 4 times a year you'd get a card made up of mostly "headline" matches that would top a weekend TV card, but all in one night and a with proper blow-off headliner. You'd kind of hope for that from a boxing PPV card and @DramaShow is right to say PPVs should be "stacked", at least the top 3 or 4 bouts. They very rarely are, from any promoter.

The main event won't be competitive in my opinion. No matter how good Usyk is, there should be more on the undercard in the UK to attract more customers. Smith vs Eubank II will do more PPV buys as it's more intriguing and the undercard is stacked.

I don't care what platform the fight is on.
Smith vs Eubank II card is one of the best I have seen. Joshua vs Whyte II card looked good on paper but didn't deliver. Regardless, let's hope for a good main event tonight.

Exactly how I feel, will probably listen to the main event on talksport, but the card doesn't bother me at all. Will pay for next week's ppv though, several decent fights on that one

I accept that. And that brought back memories, I remember going halves with my mate and staying at his to watch WWF PPV and begging our mums to say we were ill the following day!

I hate PPVs but honestly I'd rather a 40-50 quid PPV with an actual good card, 3+ must see fights, rather than 20-25 for uncompetitive tripe.

I'm with you on this one, tonights card is wafer thin and away from the main event looks like it's been put together on minimal spend. Although the main event is a little intriguing unless there is a huge upset it should be a relative formality.

Next week however is definitely good enough to get me to part with some of my hard earned. A cracking main event that could go either way with a bit of needle between the fighters and an undercard that has a few decent scraps. From all the remaining schedules of 23 Smith Eubank 2 and Wood Warrington are the two I'm looking forward to most

Slightly off topic, noticed on the upcoming QP cards, there is a Russian fella fighting, who is based in Russia. Was quite surprised?

Back in 1990 our local cable station switched to offering BSB rather than Sky channels (pre-merger) and since Wrestlemania 6 was on April 1st, it was the first day without Sky Movies where the WWF PPV events went back then... A frantic campaign of late-teenagers and their parents later, they kept Sky Movies on for two more days (to avoid us getting cut off at midnight for the main event!)

I would love to be able to phone the local cable and get an answer rather than the black hole of Sky / TNT Box Office support tonight!

Right result, by 6 was probably wide.
