Oleskandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois - August 26 // Poland (TNT PPV)

It's a fresh match up and the way this year has gone, that's a positive

 

About time this was announced. Was starting to wonder if it'd happen at all.

Can only see one result but at least we've got a HW champion defending his belt for the first time this year. Looking forward to it.

Anyone give Dubois anything more than a punchers chance? Can't see it myself but you never know.

They should do a PPV of YouTubers being introduced to the business end of a shotgun.

I can’t see a way that he wins on points, so the only way he wins it is stopping him. I like Usyk but really hope that Dubois can pull it off.

 

A fight for World titles = so what?

I don't think you understand Boxing do you. Winning a belt is kind of the aim.

 

Got to say this is never a Box office event but it is more Box Office than the non title Joshua v Whyte fight with only belated bragging rights at stake.

The line about the first PPV on TNT Sports indicating this is something to be bragging about is misreading the room.

Will be a repeat of Fury v Whyte at Wembley unless Daniel does the opposite of Joshua and lets his hands go for the first three rounds.

Needs to throw all he has and don't die wondering.

Will never outbox Usyk so make it a 3 round war and throw the towel in if he still sees the gap in the tooth 6 feet above the canvas.

So what if it’s for world titles, over on DAZN PPV you get to see AJ walked out by some shyte rapper and a stacked undercard featuring Campbell Hatton and 8 birds.

 

I think folk are forgetting what Dubois did with gorman gorman is no Usyk but he’s a good slick boxer Dubois nearly killed him

It's a good mandatory title fight for a Brit, take it or leave it. I'll wait to see the price point but have watched all of Usyk's fights since the WBSS and would enjoy seeing this.

 

Remember when he walked out he had that fella going shut up whyte nearly put end to that he had him doing a jig lol
