I've just seen that Oliver McCall beat Fres Oquendo.

I was just wondering how close he is to getting a fight against a Klitschko or David Haye?

You don't have to do much to fight a Klitschko and he must have done as much as Briggs to be in thier sights and this must be a step up for David Haye after the Fraudley farce.

    Whats the chance????

What worries me most is when you look at the conditioning of McCall. Holyfield and Briggs the old guard and compare it to Peter Chisora and eddie Chambers it really gives you an idea how far the heavyweights have slipped

I'd love to Oliver get a shot and pull it off after everything he's been through. Just hope he stays clean.

i think todays heavyweights get it so easy that they don't have the hunger of the old guard.

I can definetly see Haye wanting a fight against McCall or Holyfield.

It'll be tough for him even with this; he's been a low-reward high-risk guy for most of the past decade now. His only real shot is to try to get a mandatory spot.

He's probably too slow to being any of the three champions, but fair play to him if he gets the chance. I agree with McCall himself that Vitali would probably provide his best, albeit still small, chance since Wlad uses his reach too much and Haye is too quick. McCall's footspeed is pretty damn slow these days.

    Sadly, very true.

    I agree.
I dont see Haye fighting him, never in a million years would he be able to blast out the Atomic Bull, and McCall can really punch.
Guaranteed he gets Haye into the later rounds, and with his punch, he might end it any second before the final bell, ask Henry Akinwande.

Wlad and Vitali would both beat him in a total snooze fest.
