same here. Oliver wasn't easily bullied by big slow moving punchers. If he's fit and in good form as you say, he should be able to decision Smith or stop him late.
That's almost like saying I'll win a coin flip. McCall was a nut job, even in victory. I like Smith on points, but this one could be close. Barring a KO, I think Smith's jab and later round activity wins it.
I would go with McCall by a hair. McCall is a slightly better boxer, and Smith is NOT knocking McCall out.
McCall. When on form he was a very capable and versatile boxer. A lot of people think that his KO of Lewis was a lucky shot but that's not true at all. It was clear from the first second that McCall was instructed by Steward to draw out a punch and throw a counter right and he did just that. Oliver by decision.
Tough one to call. Bonecrusher went through the underrated 80's gauntlet and came out with a belt. McCall doesn't win a title in the 80's, not even after a 5th try. I slightly lean towards Bonecrusher because of his nickname... *Note: McCall is the only fighter to defeat both Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis.
