Both in their primes I would have to go with the Atomic Bull in this one, especially the version that decked Lewis. He would probably stop the washer woman mid to late rounds.
Believe it or not I think this has the potential to be a very boring fight. Both guys could go long long stretches just waiting around for the opponent to tire. Since neither guy is really going to wear out that bad, especially not just waiting, I could see long stretches of two guys covering up, standing in front of each other, poking and probing, and throwing the occasional hard shot at the other guys guard.
Obviously this one goes like Foreman-Lyle as they trade half a dozen knockdowns each in the first few rounds before they really set to walloping. (g)
I'd give it to Chuvalo, both can be plodders, but with so little chance of even a knockdown I think Chuvalo would be more likely to pick up the pace and out work McCall.
Really? Chivalo was more consistent, but at PEAK, would not the size & athleticism of a motivated McCall carry the day?
