    Could the McCall who upset Lennox Lewis in 1994 beat the Liston who defeated Cleveland Williams in 1960?

    Before you knock McCall, he was a good world level boxer with good power and great chin. I think he gives Liston a hard fight that may go the distance. But Liston wins the decision. What are your thoughts?

    Liston pounds the daylights out of McCall. But, Oliver's Iron chin likely gets him to the final bell. That being said, Sonny Liston is on a very short list of people who might actually be able to stop the Atomic Bull.

    F**ing Foreman and Shavers could tag team and take pot shots at Oliver while he was walking around in a cracked out stupor and he'd barely realise they were there.

    That's how good his chin is.

    Taking the best shots of a prime Liston or Foreman is tough for any fighter. These were Atomic punchers. Both would beat McCall. Both would stop McCall. Just too many punches. Just too much damage.

    Either way, Sonny better be careful. Either Oliver flips out on him, or starts crying. Sonny wouldn't know how to deal if the latter happened.

    Yeah? Liston proved against Clay, he weren’t exactly the most resilient mentally either especially when things weren’t going his way. Yeah I know we are taking about primes but still if the weakness is there it will still be there inside even if you are physically at your best.

    I very much doubt that. I have never seen Mc Call even seriously hurt.
