    Round 1

McCall walking forward, swinging his shoulders rhythmically with his slow & steady gait, cutting the ring off and throwing lead uppercuts. Reyes shuffling away, ducking, and trying swiping hooks at the body from outside with his chin tucked. McCall is pushed away and then walks into a Reyes right hand immediately closing the distance again, but grabs and throws Reyes into the ropes and keeps walking him down with jabs. Short uppercut on the body by McCall stepping inside. McCall sidesteps a looping left aimed at the chest from the short southpaw.

    10-9 McCall

    Round 2

McCall eats a right hand and backs up, turning away from Reyes. I'm not sure if he's just playing around or what. A flurry of activity from Reyes and McCall is covering up and on the backfoot. Maybe a little possum? I can't imagine the slow pace of R1 gassed him out, even at 60, given his recent form. Reyes keeps launching himself at McCall tossing with both hands at the forearms of McCall. Double jab and right cross by McCall. Hard jab by McCall stuns Reyes and snaps his head back. Reyes dives in and McCall pushes down on his back, driving him into the ground by the corner. McCall is catching right jabs from Reyes and backing into the ropes, and nearly spills through them and onto the commentary table. He impressively keeps his balance while tangled as the ref calls time and beckons for Reyes to back off for a moment.

    10-9 McCall, barely, much closer

    20-18 McCall

    Round 3

Reyes is moving laterally and throwing combos, hooking at the body or lunging up top with straights. McCall is patiently standing his ground, commanding the ring center, timing long uppercuts. McCall landing well with his counter jab when Reyes comes diving in. Reyes getting in some touches beneath McCall's elbows bending deeply forward. Thumping right hand atop the crown by McCall behind a jab on the face. McCall picks off a southpaw jab with his left glove. McCall uses both palms to shove Reyes back, bouncing him off the ropes, and nails him with a short right. BIG right by McCall with fifteen seconds left in the round, biggest shot of the fight so far. Reyes stood up to it well.

    10-9 McCall

    30-27 McCall

Before this, McCall hasn't been in a fourth round since 2018. Just once in the last 11+ years.
