Country Box is heavily promoting the fact that Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs will be sitting ringside for McCall's bout on their social media. Briggs will be appearing on a Country Box card on July 1st. Pretty obvious they're going to have Briggs "spontaneously" climb in the ring to interrupt McCall's victory interview and call him out for a match this summer/fall.

McCall is 60 years old; Briggs is 53.

Unsurprisingly, they have several common opponents - mostly from earlier in their careers:

• Lennox Claudius "The Lion" Lewis - lost to McCall via TKO2 in 1994, avenged via TKO5 in 1997 and defeated Brigga via TKO5 in 1998
