He said this in an intereview the day before the fight. He said that the only thing he is worried about is Kessler's psyche. Kessler is 200% better home than away.

    __________

Btw.... why is Kessler always the one who has to fight abroad in the big fights?

In one of Hopkins' few fights abroad he lost to a lesser opponent that the two Kessler has lost to. Californian ref, in California, and still needed to make it a headbutting contest.

In the first place, why was the reigning champion forced to fight away against a rookie?

    Boxing stinks and SOG reeks.

All the fighters bar Ward have to fight away in the group stages. Don't know about the semi's or finals though.

Academic. Yes, Kessler looked in poor form all night, but Ward looked brilliant (even the clinching, as he wasn't warned against it and therefore not fouling, was strategically brilliant). It may not have mattered what percentage Kessler came in.

kessler fought the way he always fought, its just ward proved his limited tactics obsolete when facing someone that can actually box and not stand in front of him waiting to get hit.

A good boxer should be 200% whether it be home or away

Is that the reason why Goosen said "Ward cannot fight abroad - it is IMPERATIVE that Ward only fights at home - otherwise we are not in the tourney"?

    Is it?

As they said tonight...kessler looked flat, and his accuracy was way off.....but ward was the much better fighter....he executed his gameplan.....I was mostly impressed by his defense and stance.....

I'm not saying he is on the level of mayweather, but the way his stance was, was very mayweather-esque

Why shouldn't Ward? Why did Kessler also fight abroad when he was the young kid against Calzaghe?

If it is no problem why did Lennox say before the fight "Kessler will win unless he freezes because he cannot handle the crowd". And more importantly why couldn't Ward as the only one give up home advantage?

Kessler is also 200% worse against crafty fighters with quick hands.

    Hopkins never lost abroad.
