He finally got a real breakthrough against Mathysse, and withstood a HELLISH amount of punishment and kept firing back until the referee stopped the bout, looks to have a crazy chin, good workrate, decent handspeed and a southpaw stance that would make him trouble for a lot of fighters, he has a style thats good for the paying audience too Anyone know where he'll go and what he'll do next? I have a friend who competed with him in the nigerian amateurs who always used to bang on about him but I had never seen too much of him, though he really earned my respect vs Mathysse Anyone know?
I'm still down for that. I'd also be interested in matching him up with another LMM victim on the mend, Soto.
Ajose could easily be holding a world title if he had the right promoter. I would back him to school peterson, he probably gets the best out of judah too. He just has a promoter who has no power in the game. Ajose should be fighting the likes of victor cayo and joan guzman at least just to stay busy.
A decent promoter should have been able to parlay his performance against Matty into another Sho/HBO type fight as an undercard. I'd love to see him in the ring again. A win or two over rated opposition should get him another title shot.
Ajose is one of them guys where he needs that one big fight he wins or he could just go under the radar forever id like to see him fight Guzman both coming off losses anyone know how long Guzman is out for? think Ajose is world class dont see anyone else stopping him so he could decision alot of people
I don't know whats in store but he called out broner recently among others. We all know that's some wishful thinking though, broner's not about huge risks. He'd rather challenge feather fisted paulie for his paper belt which should belong to cano. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqvfkVeHTjQ
That would be nice. ...and I'm still enamored of my Soto idea from a couple months back, as long as Soto keeps showing that he wasn't ruined by Matthysse.
