Why did you quote me twice? I said, in another thread, that Colin Lynes circa 2007-2008 wins easily but if he was only turning up to "top up his pension" then Ajose wins easily... As for Sky, maybe they wanted the guy who has acheived more and actually has a fan-base to win? But would you like to suggest ulterior motives which involve race?
I thought earlier you had said in the thread that Lynes would teach Ajose a lesson etc. I don't have a problem with Lynes just when he pulled out and we had to fight Nuumbembee at short notice something that has happened many times. Lynes in my opinion would have suffered a more vicious stoppage had they fought the night Ajose knocked out the Welterwight Nuumbembee. Look man full respect to you and all the others. I actually enjoy discussing with all of you. We love the fight game and long may it continue. I don't think Saturday was my man's best performance by a long way technically but he did what was necessary and got the stoppage. I wish Lynes all the best for the future sincerely and there will be no more digs at him. Finally I love the Brits but I try to be objective. Personally I think McCloey is better than Khan though I admit K is improved but has some inbuilt deficiences that cannot be rectified.
Lee MC fella dont waste your time arguing with someone who is clearly deluded and bias. Real boxing heads know that Olusegun is not a serious player in this boxing game. All he does is run his mouth.
Sorry Godgfather but I think on this one you are the deluded and biased one. All Ajose Olusegun does is what is expected of him and win. My prediction is that before his time is out he shall be shall be champion of the world. This is a deep division with great talent. I certainly don't the likes of Maidana, Ortiz, McCloskey, Alexander the Great, Desert Storm Bradley etc lightly. Even Khan is much improved albeit vulnerable.
Olu just a question have you ever thought of taking Ajose to America for a fight? I'm sure he could get a slot on ESPN. With all the 140 players being under HBO you will only be able to get a shot against one of the big guns if Ajose either gets a notable win (i.e. Paul McCloskey) or makes a bigger name over the pond, you wouldn't get a shot against any of their fighters without their blessing even if Ajose gets himself into the mandatory position.
He will probably have to fight for the WBC title in America. Where he fights is less important as he has shown a willingness to fight in the other guys hometown. I rate McCloskey very highly as you know but not sure if he is now a recognised name on the world scene.
Im not gona waste my time, no disrespect fella but you need to take your head out of Olusegun's a** and smell the real World. You guy is NOT World Class and never will be! As those guys mentioned would beat your boy. Who the hell has ur boy fought?? He is going on 30 plus and he has fought F all and you lot are still running your mouths. Be more humble and people will respect you and take notice. You give your bwoy a bad name hyping him up with your arrogance.
Congrats Olu. Another solid win for Ajose. Completely neutralised Lynes' jab as forced him on the back foot throughout. Lynes' negative approach made it hard for Ajose to look good. Definite signs of ring rust as his timing was off, but a win is a win.
Did Olu really say Ajose is the best in the world at 140? atschatschatsch That guy is straight up plain average. Will get soundly beaten when he steps up to anything near world level.
Wake up buddy I have been saying it for years. Question for you who do you think is the best at 140 in the world.
Your boy has beaten a few domestic fighters who were past it, and has looked dog **** in the process. Are you for real? You have to beat someone half decent to even begin to consider him being world level, let alone the best in the world at 140.
