Dan is average. He doesn't deserve an eliminator shot, nevermind a title shot.

Maidana is on the slide. If Olusegun gets lucky, he can beat him. IF...

But Alexander and certainly Bradley are much, much too good for Olusegun to even be in the same ring as them.

Olusegun is an average, B- fighter, at best. He doesn't look to have the goods to ever be more than a B- to B level fighter.

Thanks Ramon. Ionut is unbeaten and until we beat him then it is not proven that he can be beat. Maidana is a tough hombre. I know that he would stop Amir Khan. Ajose would outclass Maidana and beat him but he is a genuine tough guy. I rate both Bradley and Alexander highly. Very highly in fact but I know Ajose will beat both of them. The best must fight the best.

No both you and Lee MC are the proper tossers. He tried to denigrate and ended up with egg on his face. Just because one speaks the truth about Lynes.

Dan is unbeaten but he has looked very average and very beatable against journeymen with a bad record. Beating Dan will not prove much. The only good thing about beating Dan is that you can say you beat an overprotected guy with a padded, unbeaten record.

And you cannot say you "know" Olusegun will beat fighters who have proven that they are much better than him. You can only say you hope will get really lucky and they will have a really bad day. But that won't prove much either, will it?

If Bradley or Alexander had fought Lynes last night, they would have have shut him out in very impressive fashion and knocked him out within 3-4 rounds. Olusegun couldn't do that, not even close.

...The worst thing for a fighter is to lie to himself. The second worst thing for a fighter is to have his advisers lie to him constantly...

i believe olesugun if given the oppurtunities can be a world title holder in some shpe or form, be it wba, ibf , wbo whatever, however he is high rish low reward so whether he gets the chance or not remains to be seen, hes very awkward, classy and physically very strong and i would favour him at the moment to beat the khans, maidanas of the 140 division, i think his lack of power may mean he falls short at the very top but he is a excellent craftsman, all respect to lynes too as hes been a great domestic fighter but feel hes done now t this level nd wouldnt like to see him be fighting way below his level, best of luck if he continues at 147 but cant see how he would handle the kell brooks or the monsterous matthew hatton

Ajose Olusegun is going to fight for and win the WBC Light Welterweight Championship of the world. Ionut Dan Ion is the WBC number 1 contender and Ajose is the number 2 contender. The WBC have ordered the eliminator and Ajose will take it and defeat Ionut after which he becomes the maandatory and will defeat whoever the champion is Alexander, Maidana. Don't care who at this level they are all good. I can say Ajose Olusegun is the best fighter in the world at 140 because I have the inside track on him and know what he is capable and I study the others constantly. All he does is win. Frankly Lynes is not the issue as Ajose has beaten better and tougher guys than Lynes. Also I don't lie to anybody. You can have your opinion that is fine but for sure neither Alexander or Bradley has met someone like Ajose that is for sure. When they do they will find a different prospect to what they saw in Junior vWitter that is for sure.

What could anyone reply to that? It's your job to believe in the guy and to hype him. I guess you are doing a good job...

It's true, you cannot win anything without self-belief, but self-belief is very hard to sustain when you get outclassed and battered round after round...without getting anywhere.

Dan will not be a big test. He's a B- fighter, on a good day. Even so, he might have enough to beat Olusegun. Just like Olusegun, all he does is win. Against bums.

When Ajose defeats Ionut and goes on to win the world title I will remind you of your comments. Lets hope you are man enough to apologise then and admit you were wrong. Some of the clowns who were predicting a Lynes victory have not shown up to admit they got it wrong.

Apologise for what, exactly? I haven't insulted anyone, have I? Surely you are not arguing that Olusegun has already proven (in a real fight) that he is capable of a performance good enough to beat Alexander! Why should I apologise for being objective? I have no agenda against any fighter.

...and I wouldn't have to admit I was wrong because it would be plain to see.

...You say "when". I say "IF", because I'm no fanboi.

IF Olusegun performs much better than he has so far, he can win, yes. But if he performs as he has done so far, or just a little bit better, he has no chance unless he gets really lucky with one of those wild punches.

Good luck to your boy. I hope he becomes as good as you hope he will.

And will Ajose, with no fanbase, really be someone Showtime or HBO will be interested in?

I'd be surprised if Alexander doesn't drop the belt to fight someone else.

Agreed it's the obvious fight to make, with the winner getting a shot against Khan in a homecoming fight of sorts (presuming he still holds his title).
