Totally at a loss to explain that performance, your man can do no more than beat whats in front of him, but will still need to up his game to progress at world level, good luck in your quest.
Yep it be a great fight. Two Southpaw's who fire there artillery with bad intentions. Anyone know what's Happened to Paul he's been quiet of late.
I know, I'm waiting for McCloskey to fight a proper Euro level challenge (Lauri isn't it and that Spanish guy certainly wasn't, unlucky his fight with M'Baye fell through like), because if he has world title ambitions he will have to start stepping up to that level in the next 12-18 months. Time is not on his side and due to him heavily relying on reflexes, the sooner he gets to world level (if he does - I believe he can although the division is stacked) the better IMO. I have a copy of Lauri's 2nd fight with Bami, will have to give it a re-watch...or maybe not
Spot On. I was expecting a real push on from that last opponent and as we seen with Witter once the reflexes start to wane you become highly vulnerable. Give it a miss Kos..every time Lauri fights here he gets beat..poor sod.
I can explain Lynes performance but would rather not as people already think I I have something against him. So I would rather not comment unless forced to. All I would say is there is a pattern that can be detected.
Was it just me Olu but did Lynes not have much time for Ajose after the fight? I noticed Ajose went over a couple of times to console him but Lynes barely acknowledged him.
How Olusegun is undefeated beats me. The guy is a dreadful boxer. Strong and a bit tricky but generally has an awful style. He could also clear a place out more effectively than a stink bomb. Who the f==- would actually pay to see this dude fight if he was heading a bill??! Not many thats for sure.
Never fought anyone who is world class is a big reason. When Darke is trying to talk up Ali Nuumbembe then you know he's not being fighting at a great level. He's gotta step up and as some have agreed McCloskey is a fantastic chance to do that. He wouldn't need to sell tickets because McCloskey can sell out on his own.
It seems i've been reading this shite for a few years and he is still to seriously impress, or step up the level of opposition to even approaching World level... at 30 years of age. :huh
Glad you noticed and people try to make out Lynes is a decent bloke. I thought his post fight interview was a disgrace.
