Olympian with the Greatest Potential

Like I said....I've heard rumors he's not turning pro yet.

 

Didn't see enough of him tbh. I've heard mixed reports. Some say he's a dodgy chin and is just not hard enough for the pro game, that he should stay in the ams. But why stay in the ams earning **** all money when you've achieved the most you can ever achieve there? In the pro's he'll make decent money on the back of his success. I think he could be managed to a world title shot under Frank easily enough. But whether he is good enough to do his part, I don't know.

 

I think his style is really unsuited for the pros, to be honest. My 2 pennies.

 

Roberto Cammarelle looked sharp in the Olympics..

 

That's another guy I've heard isn't turning pro, unfortunately.I'd love to see him and Lomachenko go pro, but it doesn't look too promising.

Does anyone know the chances of Artayev (the fighter who beat Korobov and has 2 Olympic golds now) going pro?

 

Without any doubt Lomachenko was THE outstanding fighter at the olympics in China.
I would love to see him fight in the paid ranks. True pleasure to watch him fight!

 

Frankie Gavin! Has a style that I reckon would carry into the pro's much better than DeGale, and has a fantastic record.

Didn't actually fight in the Olympics as he failed to make the weight (due to growing out of his division - not lack of discipline if the reports be right) but he was in the squad so I guess he counts.

 

I think Saunders is the best British pro prospect at those games.
