I missed Conlan-Nikitin as it happened, just caught up and watched it now. It was indeed a horrible robbery. It was a virtuoso performance by Conlan. He ouboxed him on the outside, muffled a lot of Nikitin's work on the inside, started and finished every exchange, landed so many clean rights upstairs and lefts hooks downstairs. He fought his fight the whole way through, with lateral movement while Nikitin cluelessly chased him.

In three round fights you have to look at the scoring of every round. I thought Conlan won 3-0, but Nikitin did land some good punches in the first. It was giving Nikitin the third round that was the robbery. As Aiba's supposed to be liberal with 10-8 rounds I scored it 10-8 for Conlan. He won the third beyond a doubt, really finished hard and landed so much more.
