For Sep-Borges, I have the Brazilian the first round just because he was the hometown boy, otherwise it was very close, 2 was a very clear Sep round, and 3 was also fairly clear for sep.

 

Ward is garbage, I've been saying it for years.

 

I wasn't impressed by him.

 

The dad said that he got the idea from Foreman.

 

I had Tischenko winning 2-1.

In the first round it looked like he hurt Russo early, and then kept it at a distance and boxed well, Russo clearly won the 2nd, and then Tischenko edged the 3rd.

It's always hard to look good against Russo, he has such a negative style, just lunges at you with a haymaker, and then clinches. Tischenko has a good 1-2 and a good straight left, but tends to slap a bit when hooking, which is not a good look.

 

That's because ask any boxer.. any real boxer.. it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile.. winnings winning..


In the barx sense..


Pac can crush.. the boxer is the opposite..

 

Obviously if refs decide the contest then it's different..

Nico Hernandez..good fighter. He does need to improve his punch variety. More often he finds himself over-reliant on the counter left hook.
He has the toughness, grit and desire to win - the tools that make for a successful fighter in this sport. His run so far has been very impressive, it's impossible not to root for him. His victory over World Silver Medalist Egorov was incredible.

He has Dusmatov next, it'll be a tough fight, I personally slightly favour Dusmatov but Nico can do it.

I see shades of Amateur Great, Domenico Valentino in him.

 

Josh Kelly is getting his ass whooped later today by Daniyar Yeleussinov. I like Kelly but tough draw.
